Chrono skimming is not Kitty's power she has no second mutation. That chrono skimming power actually belongs to Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Rachel wasn't a part of the movie, so they gave the power to Kitty because they needed someone to jump through time.

11:30 - She HAS died... twice. First time was in Uncanny X-Men, during the Utopia arc, before joining Logan at the Jean Grey Academy. This was during the time she was trapped phased, an alien from Breakworld slits her throat, then uses a technique of her race to resurrect Kitty, and this "fixes" her problem with being trapped in phase. 2nd time was in Marauders vol1. Where Shaw uses some unique Krakoan vines that block powers to bind Kate on a sinking ship, drowning her. It took many tries, but they eventually get the Krakoan resurrection to work on her.

You clearly don't know who Kitty Pryde is then if you think she should be omega lol. An omega level mutant has no foreseeable limit. Kitty Pryde DOES have limits. At the peak of her powers without amp she can make an entire building phase through the ground or the surface of the earth in a limited vicinity around her. She also cannot breathe whilst phasing into objects as there's no oxygen, she also has to massively concentrate the entire time whilst phasing, it's not just her turning it on or off. Therefore, her having limits is NOT Omega level worthy as she does have forseeable limits lol. Also, no she did NOT phase earth at any point in time lol her "phasing" through time is not even her power at all. Nowhere in the comics can she do this. It's a stolen power from another comic character.

Empowered by Black Vortex, she phased a planet-sized amber shell from the planet Spartex. later when seemed she no longer had the Black Vortex empowerment, but maintained upgrades, she phased a section of the Earth, but not the entire thing. Still, it was a big powerup! There was a missile that needed to stop or it would hit NY so she phased the ground 20 ft or so ahead of her where the missile would hit, she phased it down through the crust to the mantle.

@@CosmicComicChronicles It USED to be that she can't breathe when moving through things. After events with the giant bullet and her stuck in the bullet, she went months without drawing a breath. Even when she got better, she questioned this, as was seen in AxX teamup with Spiderwoman where they faced off against Absorbing Man. She used to have to concentrate to stay phased, then after the Morlock Massacre, she had to concentrate to become tangible. She doesn't need to concentrate to maintain her intangible state. Think it was vol 3 of Excalibur or was New Excalibur, ShadowKing from Alt-reality mentally attacks Kitty & Rachel. Kitty grabs & phases Rachel with her as she falls unconcious. They stay intangible there. Kurt explains to others how this is was a defense response of Kitty's to protect her mind. Sure, Shadow King would eventually gain ground, but it DID slow him down enough that others could beat him in physical world.

I do love her because of her inteligence, skillset and iconicness. But to be true, there's a LOT of way better phasers/desity shifters than her on POP culture. Phantom Girl, Nico Di Angelo and Martian Manhunter are the very best examples.

Yes, he used a Krakoan vine to block her phase powers and trapping her so she couldn't swim away. But that was not the first time she died. Back when X-Men were on their first "island nation" of Utopia, a Breakworld alien used alien metals that was able to touch her to cut her throat to kill her. the alien then used a technique to resurrect Kitty, reason she did this? To 'reset' Kitty's powers. After phasing the BreakWorld's planet-busting giant bullet, Kitty was trapped in phase a 2nd time and unable to unphase. This murder then resurrection to reset her powers allowed her to control her phase powers again.

Now I imagine variant of Kitty’s, full name is (Kathryn Marie Pryde) & I imagine she was born with a birthmark on her left shoulder. To add I imagine that the birthmark, on her left shoulder, is in the shape of a crescent-moon🌙, and I imagine her eyes are green just like her mom’s eyes. I also imagine Kitty Pryde, has an adopted brother, who is six years younger than her, and I imagine his name is (Noah Lars Pryde). In addition I imagine that, Kitty’s adopted brother, is half Sweetish & half English, and I imagine one of his birth parents knew her father.

Kitty has said that she can phase between worlds. Cat, an alternate that was trapped in Limbo, told young!Illyana that her phase power works on such a primal level that the walls separating dimensions were no different than the walls separating rooms. She said this as they were moving through dimensions (sadly, Belasco was able to foil that escape attempt). In the Black Vortex story, we see this is indeed possible as when she gets a cosmic upgrade she phases through the multiverse and becomes aware of all her alternates.
