This damn song has always been like a internal switchblade that just cuts you up on the inside, {if you have a soul), to this very day. I remember singing "Let's get it On" around the house and my father asked me to find another song to sing. At the time in my life I actually didn't get understand what I was singing. The Live version which was a hit in 1974 is far superior to this version due to the women screaming and the intensity of Marvin's vocals-you really need to search for that version-it's on the Marvin Gaye Live album (1974).
