It might have been better if he said he doesn’t want to collaborate with someone with a gangster image. Saying that he wasn’t saved and collaborating with others who aren’t saved seems hypocritical. after all, sin is sin. Snoop sings about sex and violence however, R. Kelly sings about sex. And I’m pretty sure it’s premarital and out of wedlock. Not to mention stories of him with children went back years ago. Cosby made positive images however he was a horrible individual.

I love Marvin winans, and I usually agree with most of what he says but I find it a bit weird that he would turn down a collaboration with Snoop Dogg because he's not saved but yet he did collaborations with Anita Baker and R Kelly and they're not saved. And when you look at both of their lives I wouldn't categorize neither one of them as role models either. However I do agree that Snoop Dogg does need to get saved

The difference is this, They ( Anita Baker and Guy) Joined the Winans on Their Album. The Winans didn't go to theirs. Also back in that day, even the secular artists would try to put a gospel song on their Albums. Bottom line is this, The Winans Evangelized the World, they didn't allow the World to evangelize them.

@marvinj4813 he was on Michael Jackson's album he sung background for Michael Jackson on Man in the Mirror, also your point would be accurate if it related to Marvin's criteria. Marvin made his criteria clear when he said is Snoop Dogg saved. So it's weird him having that criteria with Snoop Dogg but he doesn't have that criteria with other people
