That same brand hand warmer has some that stick to the bottom of your socks. They work insanely well for sleeping in a bag. I’ve done it a few times this season. I hate sleeping with socks on but my feet definitely stayed warm

Never have I ever: Ice camped. As an Okie, the closest lake has only been frozen over deep enough to walk on once. Even during my time in the Army, I was never around a frozen body of water for long enough to explore. It all seems so… awful AND awesome. Awful, because I hate the cold. But, it IS awesomely beautiful. I can see the appeal. Amazing video, Mav. BUY THE HOUSE!!! Location!!! 😅

Technically, winter doesn't begin for a few more days, but I live in S. Florida, so what the hell do I know? BTW, I've been stuck down here for 23 years and would do just about anything for a foot or 2 of snow. Year round warm weather gets real old real quick. Always love your videos. I get to live vicariously through your adventures, especially when it's 85° in the middle of freakin' December.

Whereas, it's true that I grew up in the south (Atlanta), my point is that I miss the experience of having 4 distinct seasons. I miss the fall colors. I hate the monotony of the never ending tropical existence. It gets really old. If you're betting I couldn't handle a really cold winter, you lose. I've delt with cold and I deal with heat (I work outside in 98° heat all late spring to to mid-fall. When I say it gets old, I mean it. So, please, keep your ignorant assumptions to yourself. It just makes you look like an idiot.
