Comrades, the ultra orthodox community in Israel for the most part does not vote Netanyahu, but rather have their own political parties like Shas, Mafdal, United Torah and Noam. However, most conservative Jews, and those who are religious but not Hasidic tend to vote Netanyahu, and a majority of them do military service.

I beg to disagree re. your optimistic analysis of the US imperial policies under Trump: there are only "tactical" and not strategical changes. As usual Trump will try to wedge the Moscow-Beijing entente and focus on China, that's all. The USA needs to dominate the Old World one way or another and very especially the Middle East, Trump knows that much and will act accordingly.

Georgescu did not want the election because of "meddling" (from whom?). The allegation is that he used Tiktok and the campaign was funded by Russia. Now, if it were so easy to win the election, why didn't other candidates also use TikTok. Surely the reason is that the MESSAGE he was sending out (against involvement in Ukraine war, against EU, against NATO) was resonating with the voters, not that it was on TikTok. Then, the democrats decide to cancel the election. Now, Georgescu is a reactionary, but by cancelling the election they are only making him MORE popular.
