Such pure, kind and caring Mathew is ❤😍 He really cares for her. Have you noticed that he tried to protect her from that man with demons? He was ready to go after her no matter what place she was in. Even unknown and dangerous for him. When she was vomiting he didn't feel it disgusting as usual. But this time he had only one thought just to help her as much as he could. Real purity and love to another person. He saw only good in her when she couldn't see it in herself. Incredible light from Jesus. Simon will treat Matthew differently cause now he sees for the first time that Matthew really cares for someone. And of course the scene when Jesus healed Mary. His pure happiness and relief. I pray Jesus for me and everyone to have such a good, pure and caring person by our side. All love, glory and life is to Jesus Christ ❤ He loves you and has prepared the purest love for you in His name ❤

I didn’t catch on that they had a little crush on each other, Mary is such an angel to everyone that I just took it for granted that she treated Matthew with extra care since I thought it was just her nature to be kind to someone who is judged harshly. It is kinda cute seeing them be like kids with a crush. It’s rather wholesome even if I’m not sure it will lead to them actually becoming a couple. Cause realistically it wouldn’t really be a feasible idea for the series to try to go all in with; but I still love their friendship in the show. Mary is such a lovely person and I love that Matthew sees so much of her best elements and she deserves that from everyone.

It would be so heartbreaking to see Matthew have a meltdown/sensory overload in a future episode(or perhaps after Jesus is crucified) and it becomes a temporary distraction for Simon to focus on after the crushing guilt he feels from his denial that Jesus warned him about. I think it would really bring their characters to a higher level of brotherly love( that is Simon taking care of and comforting Matthew). Plus, God tends to place people in our lives to take the focus off ourselves in the midst of tragedy. It sort of rescues us from being consumed in despair. These are the things this writer brain thinks about at night. lol
