This song just seeps with real a Country feel and tradition to it. MCC should really consider a comeback of a sort like Garth Brooks, Wynonna and others. Heard this song back in the 90's while stationed at MCAS Iwakuni, they would play it on country night at the NCO club and just loved it! a very talented gal.

One afternoon I was scanning local radio stations, heard this song, stopped to listen but I'd never heard anything like it before. The DJ didn't announce the name of the song or the singer so I had to listen to that station for days till I heard it again!! Hooked ever since.

MCC always spices up every award show she appears on over the years.Too bad the rest of the so called country elite stopped playing her music.Look at those plastic Judds looking in awe after the performance like wow wish we could be like that.MCC never needed country.She just dropped in for a few years,blew the doors off,won every award possible and went back to writing real music with heart.Look at the country artists of today and their songs.They pale in comparison to the great MCC!!

Why do people think they have to rip one person to build up another? The Judds were great and Wynona still is. There is no reason to make fun of them. Mary doesn't need that and probably doesn't like people saying such things. Mary sang great and I miss her too. Last time I saw her she was taking care of some horses on her ranch. Seemed quite happy to be there too. And I do hear her songs on the radio still.

Simply search for 'Twist'n Shout Nightclub' on KZbin and play the three videos of Geno Delafose and his band playing at Twist'n Shout in Bethesda, Maryland. As shown in the videos, in the 80's and 90's this nightclub was as electric as the Cajun/Zydeco nightclubs in Louisiana including some of my favorites such as Rock'n Bowl, Angelles' Whiskey River, Slims Y Ki Ki, Giltons, Richards (Rip), ...etc,etc. Enjoy!
