It has been quite a journey for Jodi Mata who lost both of her hands and her Harrison, Michigan home in a horrific fire back in September of 2013. The recovery process has been a long one, but Jodi is now working with the outpatient and prosthetics teams at Mary Free Bed on something truley remarkable - custom-built and custom-engineered bionic hands. Jodi, I am so blessed to have met you, even if it was just for a brief moment in passing in the sky walk. You are an inspiration. You are in awesome hands with Katie and Ashley.
