Mary's honesty should be applauded in this interview because she said things that I know she wasn't too proud to say. Not only did she not put all the blame on Kendu but she took responsibility for her part in the situation. Mary could have gotten on here and destroyed Kendu but she didn't. It takes a very strong woman to say "I gave him all the power" or "I would have allowed a third person in our marriage because I loved him that much". She was contemplating sharing him to save her marriage. Mary’s Love ❤️ blinded her completely and he disrespected her with manipulation. I applaud her for being so forthcoming and her relationship. He road on her coattails and used her money 💵 to finance his second life. She respected him and gave him a warning ⚠️ first ☝🏽. 13 years and so many tears 😭 for a undeserving man. Watching this was uncomfortable for me. As someone who works with people struggling with depression, there were many indicators in this interview that she needs therapy, whether from a pastor, therapist or life coach. Too many of our greats gone too soon already. It was too soon for her to do this interview about her divorce, IMO, but I'm happy that her new album was therapeutic for her. Hopefully her real friends and family support her and intervene if she starts to spread herself too thin. I'll keep her in my prayers.
