I just got this to say, because I take music seriously (and by seriously I mean the craft). For those that say it's uninteresting and uninspiring, how so? You expect her to do what these kids today are doing, she'd look a pure fool if she called herself trying to trap soul, mumble talk over an over produced glossy beat. That's never been MJB and never will be. I don't know how this is uninspired, considering this is pretty much about her current/pending divorce. So it's real life inspired (like much of her catalog is). Singing about the same stuff for 20 years? Where have some of you so called fans been? She tried to do the "happy" music, y'all didn't want that Mary. So what the heck do some of y'all want from these artist. Bottom line is, stop looking for another My Life or 90s Mary, because that's never going to happen again. No artist, or human for that matter, can duplicate or replicate their past. Either you grow up, grow with, or leave it alone. I'm not saying you have to like the song, but you can't judge an artist work based on their past offerings cause they aren't there in life anymore. You have to listen to the new material with fresh ears and an open mind. I'm not the same person I was a year ago, let alone 5, 10, 15 or 20. And I'm suppose to be the old head here😂😂😂😂!

Damn. Whatever Mary fans don't find this record to be 🔥 are tweakin. And will never be satisfied beyond her 90's material. Me personally? When I finally heard this album, and this record in particular.. it had that signature Mary sound, with the updated musical trends of today. And I literally played this record for two hours straight lol. So yeah, those fans will never be satisfied. But true music and Mary fans, will know that this album is a borderline Mary classic Lp. Maybe not quite on par to the Holy Trinity of Mary albums -- "What's The 411!", "My Life", "Share My World -- but I'd solidly put it up there right in between "Mary" and "No More Drama". And was a great bounce back from the highly disappointing "London Sessions".

It's like she got the best of old skool and modern. The way the whole first minute is that signature Mary J Blige, despite the little bit of trap in it.
