Great to see a new video! I wish the technical quality was better.

That stock knife is insane! Very informative; masterful demonstration. Surprised I haven't seen you on Zed Outdoors. Also, neat hair color!

@JoJo Wood Craft love this, it’s inspired me to try spoons. Stock knife is deceptively large and can produce such fine cuts, amazing tool. Question... any advice on buying split logs? Not sure where to buy? Only really carved some oak and mostly lime/basswood. Would love to try other woods. Thanks in advance.

I made a makeshift stock knife by taking the handles off a large drawknife, straightening the handles, bending one end into a hook. It’s a paper cutter for wood and works surprisingly well considering it’s a tiny imitation of the real thing. I use it a lot for certain things I could use an axe for but yes...more control and easy to cut slight curves etc. IMG_1526.JPG

We drink, i drink SODA DRINKS, eat sweets from market...so i donțt think it is bad wood for eating spoons... I made from everything i find green and all look all right when dryed. :)
