I didn’t know that ghost was getting big on tiktok until a friend from high school told me they had heard Mary on a Cross on tiktok and wanted song recommendations. Ghost is the last band I would’ve expected to get popular on tiktok, but I think that’s the ultimate sign of a band making it. Reading through these comments almost brought tears to my eyes. Ghost is the first band I watched grow from relatively unknown to a chart topping band and I’m so happy to see people experiencing the same feelings I felt a decade ago

They're on Tik Tok? I'm so proud of this band lol. I saw their first show in Canada, the Infestissumam tour, tickets were like $22 with no VIP in a tiny club for about 50 people. I see them every tour and it's been like watching a seedling grow into a beautiful flower. The first time I heard them was when their first single Ritual was played on Octane XM. Crazy how long it's been. They've been my favourite band for.. Nearly a decade. I met Forge as Copia on the Pale tour. Can't wait to see them again. It's been way too long. He's never once released a Ghost song I don't like.

I don't give a shit about Grammy's but I was still overjoyed when they won the Swedish Grammy and then a US one because he's worked so hard for so long and he deserves recognition for his talents. I know he sees his albums as a progression of improvement, I respect that, I personally love all the albums. Even Opus Eponymous, even though he only plays one or two songs at most at this point, I still love the doom metal album. I'm very open with music. That's why I love Ghost so much. It's dynamic.

I feel like one major issue with responding to those people is that you're inadvertently validating them. Giving them attention perpetuates the amplification of a voice not worth listening to. They dominated my teenage years and helped me forge my taste in metal (even though back then I had no clue what the real signification of each song was lol). Comecei a ouvir Ghost quando eu era bem pequena (6 ou 9 anos por aí) e depois de um tempo parei de ouvir pois não lembrava muito, depois que essa música fes sucesso no tiktok acabei recordando da banda e agora depois de tantos anos canto bastante quase todas as músicas. Foi uma experiência incrível reviver as memórias 🖤 foi uma evolução enorme deles, e sempre estarei os apoiando até o final, pois fizeram parte da minha infância agora estão presentes na adolescência ❤️🖤

Its so nice to ghost becoming a big band, at first when i found them on youtube from their live performances i was a bit cautious and off-put (mainly cuz of the whole satanism thing) but ive grown to learn that music is music and anyone can listen to any kind of music they want, and now i get to enjoy ghost with a bunch of new fans rather than feeling secluded and strange, i hope they go far and get bigger and bigger !
