I appreciate the quotes from the Bible which you referenced. However, Catholic doctrine is not only based on the Old and the NewTestaments, but also canonical scripture and sacred tradition. Catholics do pray directly to God the Father. But, we also utilize intercessory prayer, when we call upon the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Communion of Saints, to intercede for us on our behalf. Intercessory prayer is intercession, Not worship. Mary, in her lifetime beside Jesus, did go to her Divine Son, to ask for help on the behalf of others. The Wedding at Cana, which occurs shortly after Jesus's baptism, is one example. Mary, seeing the embarrassing situation (running out of wine) at the reception for the young newly married couple, goes to her Son imploring Him to help. How does Jesus respond to Mary's request? He does not say, "Mom, this is not my concern. Go back to the party." Instead, Jesus said to her, "Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you.” [John 2:4,5] Have you ever thought about why Jesus calls His Mother,"Woman?" Jesus addresses his mother as "Woman" because Mary is the Chosen Woman. Mary was Chosen from the moment of her conception to be the Blessed Virgin Mother of Jesus Christ. God made her pure and born without original sin, just like He has made Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. Except Eve's disobedience led to Man's sin and death. This first sin was "transmitted" by Adam and Eve to all of their descendants as original sin. Until God created a "New Eve," Mary. Who was chosen to be the Mother of our Redeemer. Mary is the co-redemptrix. The beauty of Mary's fiat, and her special role in cooperation with God's invitation, is that it subtracts nothing from Christ as the only Divine Redeemer. The most loving thing Jesus ever did for us, as He was dying on the cross, was when he gave His own Mother to us, saying, "Behold your Mother."[John 19:26-27] Here, the "beloved disciple" John represents all of us. Jesus entrusts John in the care of his mother saying to Mary, "Woman, behold,your son."[John 19:26-27] I wish I could explain it better and in more detail, but my channel is not really an apologetic channel. However, for what it's worth, I have been reading the gospels in the original Greek for decades and they do not teach what you're teaching. I believe that you're teaching is not Biblical. Let me ask you a question, how long have you been a Catholic? Please answer, thank you 🙏 "for 👉all👈 have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" -Romans 3:23 Friend, seriously, in all truth, are you going to tell me that you have not seen any photos or videos of Catholics bowing to statues of Mary? If not, please do a *little* more research! 👉"You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God..." Pray to God ONLY! I am praying for you! 💟

@Belief_Before_Glory I love you too friend! Cradle Catholic here with 12 years of Catholic education. I love Jesus with all of my heart, and I love His mother as well. I have never read the original Greek bible, so I cannot speak to that. Curious as to what faith do you follow, or religious views align with yours? I can respect your beliefs just as easily as you can respect mine. And I would wonder why would you click on a Marian prayer if you don't believe in her intercession?

@@Belief_Before_Glory Scripture is the Word of God. But, the bible only contains some of "the Word." The Word is also Jesus Christ, and Jesus cannot be summed up in what is only written in the Bible. Jesus is alive and lives among us! [John 1:14] " And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father."
