Marty Heins struggled with her weight and yo-yo dieting for years before having bariatric surgery with Dr. Denis Halmi in 2017. In 2018 she joined his team as the practice manager of the Mary Washington Weight Loss Center in Fredericksburg, where she understands the trepidation and nerves their patients feel before embarking on their surgical weight loss journey.
