The pulse rifle is fine once its upgraded. Its fun, and its secondary fire mode shoots a HIGHLY explosive round that explodes on contact with the target!

It's insane how Marz will constantly try to kill the necromorphs without using her guns. She has a lot of ammo for the plasma cutter but acts like she has no ammo. If she can master shooting the necromorphs' limbs off she will have an easier time with it. Marz, you can't need to use stasis to kill every enemy, that strategy will not work for you because you don't have unlimited stasis.

Few tips if anyone is playing dead space for first time or after long time. Things that can be picked up glow so that is where is best to aim in order to pick them up. Not 100% sure on this but you should be able to pick up dismembered blades from dead enemies and use them as an arrow as well, it is a good way to preserve ammo.

It's possible that most real civilian ships would be made to be as homey as possible, specially if you'd need to be in them for months or years. A good place to look would be at what the space agencies are coming up with for actual crew missions to other planets and stuff

The parts of the ship that were exclusive to the higher-ups and wealthy (which you see later) actually have nice interiors and look cozy. Its probably done on purpose (you can think of any reason)

Alien Isolation had horrible industrial and scary places, but also very pretty and relaxing looking ones, like the one with the sitting lady, and the huge balcony looking place with the androids that let you see the gas giant. i assume the same happens here.

Just a tip, only use your melee to push an enemy away to then blast their limbs off. Melee in this game wasn't designed to be an offensive option.

You can pull the blades off of the ones you kill and throw them at others. It’s also best to stomp when they’re crawling rather than punching them.

Marz. You can use the necros' claws to impale the other necros.. If you see sticks/bars on an object, like those of the tables you were trying to pick up, just break the object with a melee and you'll be able to use the stick to impale the necros. You can also throw fire extinguishers, they explode and stun them for a bit. This can save you lots of ammo. xoxo

Secondary fire marz. Remember each gun has an ADDITIONAL firing capability. For example the Plastima cutters secondary firing can change your aiming from horizontal to vertical and the pulse rifle can shoot mines. This isn't a back seat gaming moment just giving you a reminder of what your guns are capable of.

Anything seen from afar with a slow flashing light can be interacted with. Also, there are movies that answer some of the lore for what's what and why's why of the game. I love and miss this game (along with Isaacs screaming bass-filled stomp) but space movement is a hugeeeeeee improvement from the OG. Anybody remember what that was like?....also, the story for this game is outstanding! Enjoy Marz, but careful if you go to Marz.....it's got some space travel involved lol.

love the gameplay just as a heads up dead space if you only keep 1-2 weapons on you that is the only ammo you will find so if you carry all of them all different types will drop and keep you tight on ammo and then you can focus on leveling them as you go. i hope that helps you can deposit the others in storage tell you want to level them up.

Hey Marz id im starting your second video now but i would recomend using the pulse rifle secondary fire and plant some mines, try to predict where they will come from and use the plasma gun to get whoever is left. But so far its great! And anything you can use as a spear do it with kinesis it sometimes one shots them.

As someone who sucks at aiming with the controller this game is vastly easier with keyboard and mouse. Not sure if you're playing on PC but if so give it a shot and it might make group encounters more manageable. Great playthrough!

Them big spikes on their arms are good melee weapons. You don't have good melee weapons and should probably stick to shooting them from a distance. You'll save a lot of health packs that way.
