北欧フィンランドの6人組バンド、BLIND CHANNELが5thアルバム『Exit Emotions』を完成させた。2021年に行われたヨーロッパ最大の音楽の祭典"ユーロヴィジョン・ソング・コンテスト"にフィンランド代表として出場、6位入賞を果たし注目を集めた彼ら。母国のチャートで1位を記録した前作『Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous』（2022年リリースの4thアルバム）に続く最新アルバムは、"ヴァイオレント・ポップ"と名付けた自らの音楽性をさらに強化。USツアー（"Still Panicking Tour"）で共演したFROM ASHES TO NEWや、イギリスのシンガー・ソングライター RØRYといったゲストも迎え、リスナーの感情を解放する強力な楽曲を揃えている。今回、ツイン・ヴォーカルのNiko MoilanenとJoel Hokka バンド結成秘話など話を訊いた。

BLIND CHANNEL, a six-piece band from Scandinavian Finland, has completed their 5th album "Exit Emotions", which has attracted a lot of attention as they represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest, the biggest music festival in Europe in 2021, and won the 6th place.The group has been in the limelight ever since.Their latest album, following their last album "Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous" (4th album released in 2022), which reached No.1 on the charts in their home country, further strengthens their "Violent Pop" style of music.The album also features guests such as FROM ASHES TO NEW, who the band performed with on their US tour ("Still Panicking Tour"), and British singer/songwriter RØRY, and features powerful songs that release the listener's emotions.We interviewed the twin vocalists, Niko Moilanen and Joel Hokka, about the band's formation.
