@modelomegatyler They retconned buu's ability to separate people who fused. Supreme Kai says he was unfused when buu swallowed then and spit them back out. The fuse bugs were the second indication. Having two majins is another indication, the will probably fuse(i think majin duu will get hungry and stop fighting). Having vegeta fight tamagami #2 is yet another as we now expect both vegeta and goku to fuse to satisfy the 1v1 terms neva talked about.

Online takes about this show make me so angry, people just do NOT understand that Kuu and Duu are not the final enemies and are falling for a misdirection meant for actual children and it's hilarious. Like the Evil Third Eye has been mentioned since episode 1 and if you have basic media literacy you'd know exactly where it is rn and that it's what'll setup the real threat. Plus Kuu and Duu are just so lovable, genuinely they've made me smile and laugh so much and I cannot wait to see more of them. Their friendship is so pure and I need more of them

Hey Maskao: One possible explanation for piccolo not understanding Nevah. Nevah might be speaking an older dialect of Namekian. Think of it this way, it'd be like you trying to talk to someone that speaks old English from the 9th century. It might be the same dialect but it looks and sounds completely different from modern English

Can you remember how to speak the second language you learned in school fluently? It's called language attrition which is the process of forgetting a language that you don't use for a long time. It's pretty common in the real world. Also Nails memories aren't a library that Piccolo can just read from whenever he wants. It's probably more like watching a movie once, you might remember the main points after years but not the small details. Piccolo might remember some Namekian but not enough to make a coherent wish.

To be fair to you, Piccolo as we know him has a VERY complicated genealogy. To start with, he's both a reincarnation of and the son of Piccolo Sr, and he's also his own twin since back in the "King" days he divided as the nameless Namekian into Kami and Piccolo, AND he's got Nail in there. So, yeah I can see how you'd get confused who counts as the "father" across all that, since both Sr. and the nameless original could both be counted that way, but also, they're all one being so not exactly. Good to see the show's got that all straight and just says "No the guy who coughed up the nameless kid, THAT'S the actual dad." Then there's Nail... he's in there too. What a great couple of guys he is. Speaking of... NAIL! Nail definitely speaks Namekian, and that's a somewhat recent absorption and how Piccolo managed to regain his knowledge of his own heritage in the first place. Just saying "Oh well I never really speak it any more so I've just forgotten the language" just... feels really off. Off in that Toriyama "I can't believe the guy was so patient he waited a WHOLE ENTIRE YEAR to make a second wish" shock the whole crew had regarding Zamasu. Yes, an eons old being was patient enough to wait an extra singular year for his plan. Why is that shocking everyone?

If it isn't revealed that Piccolo is lying for some reason, it's a plot contrivance so that they have a reason for Nevah to come with them.

Wait, if only one person can fight a Tamagami... FUSION!!! Both Goku and Vegeta can fight Tamagami #1, by using those bugs to fuse and fight as one. It could be assumed that it wasn't Namekian that Piccolo and Kami were speaking. That could retconned as some other Celestial language. Although he also has Nail in him. But Piccolo also said that he's been on Earth so long that he just forgot. It makes sense that Kami would remember because of his seclusion as Earth's Guardian. Having more contact with other Earthlings have have dulled that memory though. And If Piccolo never merged with Kami or Nail, he may have kept secluded too and held onto the memory of the language. After all, Piccolo says he's been on Earth so long that he's forgotten. Maybe that's not as long-term as we assume. After all, Piccolo is technically only like, what, 5 years older than Gohan? He might've spent so much time with Earthlings that he adopted the language and forgot his original language, or at least not remember enough of it to adequately convey information to the Demon World Dragon.

It's not the lack of action that's making Daima a bit boring, ya doof. It's the lack of any tension and feeling of urgency whatsoever. For me, the world building and the characters are what's keeping it alive for me. Daima is like hanging out with grandma. Is it a bit boring? Yeah, it is, but it always knows how to make you feel warm and loved.

@@Peasham Even further back I would argue. The Namek saga and introduction of "backup dragon balls" removed all threat of permanent death and tension. I don't mind though because death has never really been a serious thing in dragon ball so I don't expect it to be in future sagas and I can just sit back and enjoy them for what they are.

At least, without context, you might not know who that is in the thumbnail (assuming he hasn't changed the title recently. It might have been more spoilery earlier?) But yeah, I do thoroughly agree. I was really angry myself about having Cell Max spoilt by this very channel. It is a little bit of a problem Masako has, trying to clickbait the title with big plot points.

Imagine all the troubles that could've been prevented if Earth also had a powerful Tamagami protecting the Dragon Balls from evil. Majin Duu really takes after Buu with the red eyes, the love for sweets and the unpredictable nature. If he has his absorption or ability to turn others into candy oh boy those are bad news.

My theory for why Kuu and Duu are the way they are is because the Buu essance they took was from Mister Buu, instead of Kid Buu. Mister Buu has the influence of South Supreme Kai and Dakaio influencing his personality, so they're also going to be present in Kuu and Duu. If I'm right though, then that begs the question. If Duu is more Dakaio, does that mean Kuu is more like South Supreme Kai?

Vegeta almost always gets done dirty. Yes the others need to shine too, but the franchise went way too far in the wrong direction I think for that to happen the right way. SSJ is where it started going downill, even if it was great for marketing. And they also missed a golden oppertunity with god ki to help level the playing field for the humans again. Lets face it this is the goku show. x'D

@Martial_Autist Yeah. The saiyans were some of the LEAST appropriate characters to get god ki. Not Kami-Piccolo, who was partially god of Earth, or Tien with his mystical third eye, or Chiaotzu with his psychic thing, or Gohan who received a mystical empowerment from a supreme kai, nor Krillin with his childhood as a monk!

@@DanielMWJ Honestly I think they could have used it as an equalizer that invalidates SSJ, since god ki is tranquil while SSJ in all it's forms is primal. Bada bing bada boom everyone roughly on an even playing field again after an arc or two. Just like it was in dragonball. At least that would have been my pitch.
