I recently was re-watching the DBZ and a random one came to mind. It came when Vegeta and Napa. We’re waiting on Goku and Napa took off for a few hours to have some fun. What if during those two hours he was gone Napa had a “ fling” with an earth woman, and as a result, Napa ended up with an offspring. The way I see it you could take that story in a bunch of directions. One such direction could be the future trunks timeline.

You know... I often wonder how the story would have gone, if literally anyone of the fighters decided to just take some of the time Cell gave to just... Go to the ring, sit down with him, share a drink and chat. Probably wouldn't have stopped Cell from going through with his plan, but maybe, there would have been more mutual respect in it.
