Trunks probably never described them because there had only ever been 2 androids. In the future Trunks timeline it’s pretty heavily implied that 19 and 20 did not exist or at least the Z fighters never saw them. They had only encountered the two.

This is getting really interesting so far! :3 As for your inquiry: I believe Trunks simply didn't think it was necessary, he never assumed there would be more than two androids. So he never bothered to mention what they'd look like because in his timeline there were only the two and the moment they'd appear they would be well known.

Great part. I hope Piccolo has Bansari in the present timeline as well. Goten, Trunks, Marron and Bansari can be part of the new generation in the Majin Buu Arc. I’m looking forward to how Piccolo and Bansari’s relationship develops. The one reason I can think of Future Trunks not telling what Android 18 and Android 17 look like to the Z Fighters is because he forgot to.

It’s honestly fun piccolo growing as a character mainly in parent department since unlike most namkiens piccolo was never raised or had a guardian. The dude always had look after himself so it’ll be more interesting since unlike gohan it’s actually his own little one

My forgiveness on future Trunks is as far as he was aware there was only ever two androids. My personal fan theory is Vegeta self destructed like he did with Buu when android 19 proved to be a bit too much to handle. Resulting in the remaining Z-crew to assume the androids were defeated and without Bulma present to see Dr. Gero and point the Z-crew to his base, is mortal wounds ensured his death but wasn't fatal fast enough thus giving him time to reprogram 17 and 18 to be stuck in hate mode.

On the one hand Piccolo *is* trying. he really is. The problem is bansari seems to have imprinted on Gohan. So I can understand Piccolo's frustration. ...Also Goku's evasivness over having another kid. I don't think Kami would directly have any answers, but what he *does* have is King Kai's phone number and *HE* can call Elder Mori to summon purunga to get some answers if not some more direct intervention (though given the dragons seem to abide by free will, that might be a no-go if Bansari is all 'No' about the whole 'forced growing up' thing.

The simple answer about Trunks is he didn't know there were more cyborgs. He assumed the two who would attack would be 17 and 18, so he didn't think he needed to describe what they looked like.

To answer your question as to why Trunks didn't describe them, its probably because he didnt believe that the future would change that much. Think about it, in Trunk's timeline, only 17 and 18 showed up (plus cell, but they didnt know that yet). So to Trunk's knowledge, only those two would show up and wreck havoc, so he believed that once time was up, Goku and the others would have been strong enough to beat them. He didnt count on Dr.Gero and 19 to exist.

Canon Trunks never described what the Androids of his day looked like because he wasn't raised on stories of how his father faced Android After Android from the Red Ribbon Army. Bulma may have known the general storyline but wouldn't have taken the time to describe them - they were androids, they were the bad guys, and our friend Goku beat them all up. Gohan? Did.

Yeah, when Frieza goes to Earth to exact his revenge King Cold could just decide not to go because he doesn't think it's a good idea and we could have King cold show up either between the cell Saga and Buu saga after some training and mechanical upgrades or as one of bobbities minions almost like a second Deborah or an outright replacement I could see King cold in a transformation similar to cooler with the Majin mark holding down a Super Saiyan Gohan as a Majin Vegeta fights Goku in the background

My guess is, it wouldn't have really mattered. Trunks didn't known about 19 and 20 (or 13, 14 and 15) so in his mind when the androids showed up and started blasting, it would be obvious who they were.

I don't have a child of my own but I helped raise a kid it's difficult when you are just a kid your self. I had no help besides my bestfriend I like to think I made a difference in his life after his mom and dad died but I guess I could say trying to be a friend and a role model is not the easiest path to walk for a young man who has barely gotten out of being a kid him self. I had no dad growing up and I had no idea how to go about being a good example of a strong man who could lead a young teenage boy to being a stand up man when he grows up but he and I sat down one day and talked and he thanked me for making a deferens in his life he is going to get married and start a family of his own and I couldn't be prouder of him life takes us on many paths and the path you choose determines how your future will turn out I am proud to say I chose the right path for him and me

Honestly, I don't think the whole "Why didn't Trunks tell them what the androids looked like?" thing would have changed much had he told them. If they weren't going to look for Gero's lab, they wouldn't look for the androids ahead of time. And if they did, well, that depends on when they were made into androids. Either they'd already be in the lab or if they found them and stopped them from becoming androids then Gero would use some other poor souls. Maybe the orphans from that filler towards the start of Z if we are to go full fan fic. Plus in this timeline Gero and 19 start the attack so, not much would change seemingly.

Possible answer to 11:05 question - because Trunks didn't see a reason to. The Androids he knew about were the only ones he knew existed, that he had ever seen in ten-plus years of their rampage. An "Outside Context Problem", in short. As an analog case, same reason why King Kai didn't warn Goku, "hey,. you're gonna meet a time traveller when you get home".

I think it's funny that the Namekian life cycle is wildly inconsistent in Canon so you're able to decide how you age the bae. Cause Piccolo agreed up in 3 years, but Dende couldn't have since the Z team picked him up during the cell saga, which is like 4 years after Namek. So, free game for head cannon
