Being able to get done with cooking prawnto! To do just that, we’ve divided this Masala Prawns recipe equally, for you and your partner to go dutch on the cooking bit and the eating bit, together. Because when made by two, it’s half the work and double the spice. Now, doesn’t that sound nice?* Cooking time with better half: 35-40 minutes Chef 1: Ingredients: 500 g prawns ¼ tsp turmeric 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder ½ tsp salt 1 tsp ginger garlic paste ½ tsp fennel powder ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp garam masala 1.5 tsp lemon juice Procedure: Chef 1, you’re on prawns duty! Take the shrimp in a bowl and add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. Mix it all together. Set aside for 30 minutes to marinate. Once Chef 2 is done with the saute, it’s your turn to take over the cooking. Add the marinated prawns to the pan and saute them for 2 mins on medium heat. Add 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp fennel powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, and ½ tsp garam masala. Mix and fry for 3-4 minutes on medium heat until the masala coats the prawns. Squeeze 1.5 tsp lemon juice, mix and your masala prawns are done! Chef 2: Ingredients: 3 tbsp oil 2 medium-sized onions (sliced) 4 green chillies (sliced) 15-20 curry leaves Procedure: Chef 2, you’ll be in charge of the saute! Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan and add the sliced onions. Fry for 6-7 mins on medium heat until the onions are light brown. Now, add the sliced green chillies and the curry leaves and fry for another minute. Now that the saute is done, let Chef 1 take over!
