𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐯 -
* Gram Flour (बेसन) - 1.5 Cup
* Oil (तेल) - 4 Tbsp
* Water (पानी) - 1/2 Cup
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐢 -
* Milk (दूध) - 2 Cup
* Sugar (चीनी) - 1 Cup
* Saffron (केसर) - Some
* Mawa (मावा) - 1.5 Cup
* Cardamom Powder (इलायची पाउडर) - 1 Tsp
* Ghee (घी) - 1 Tbsp
* Pistachio (पिस्ता) - Some
𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐄:
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐯, take 2 cups of Gram Flour/Besan on a thali and add Oil to it. Prepare a soft dough by adding some Water. Knead the dough and keep it aside by covering it. Take a sev maker and attach the plate. Press the machine and make Sev. Fry them until they are light brown in color. Drain the access Oil & then crush the Sev.
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐢, keep the pan for heating, add Milk, Sugar, and saffron, and cook on a slow flame. Then put Mawa/Khoya, Cardamom Powder & Sev. Cook well while stirring continuously on a high flame for 2-3 minutes. Then turn the flame slow & cover it. Then add Ghee and mix well. The mixture for barfi has become thick. Take a tray & grease some Ghee & put a Mixture on it. Spread evenly & garnish with chopped Dry Fruits and press them to insert in it. Leave the barfi to set for 5-6 hours & cut into pieces. In this way, Halwai Style Mumbai Famous Sev Barfi will be ready at home easily.
