I even held regret for doubting her when she was in the hospital, this regret for misjudging a character has only been felt on two other occasions in my time watching anime. It would change the story itself and there would be no point for the plot. I hope they do what Clannad did. Show like another time where the MC would be dating another character or getting another character. I wish alot of anime did that :P (Nisekoi) Although they don't have the same setting as Clannad. It'd be kind of weird and hard to do I think. The plot revolved around the girl while Clannad's didnt necessarily. I have bad memory tho so w/e.

@HoneyBudsX What you're thinking of is the Omnibus genre, where the anime essentially takes all the routes the MC can have with each of the girls within his harem by going through different time periods where a different scenario occurs and the MC ends up with the girl who represents that scenario. Alongside Clannad, other anime that do this are Yosuga no Sora and Amagami SS. Personally, I don't favor those types of anime. Why? Because they don't show a true conclusion. Sure, you see an ending for each girl, but none are canon because they're all their own routes. Even though the author leaves it up to the imagination of the viewer to decide what is truly canon, I'd rather have a straightforward story that ends up to a single conclusion. Regardless of whether it's a bad ending or not.

But without saying too much its because Masamune couldnt stop thinking about Aki Adagaki, as much as he wanted revenge on her all he could think about was her, so that most likely means that he only rejected Neko is because he genuinely cares for Aki even if he doesnt show it he means what hes doing to impress her, to show her how much he can change.

Aki didn’t even reject Makabe. She was more broken than he was, and Yoshino don’t know why people call her the best girl, clearly she was a brat. Neko and Aki aren’t selfish one compare to Makabe and Yoshino. Even though Makabe was dating Aki, he almost kissed Neko and was like very close to Yoshino. And I do not see that he somehow loved Aki, stomp I see that she truly loves him. My girls Neko and Aki deserve someone better than a guy like him.

It was sad to see the reality of things and how hard it is just to have one person be happy. After reading the manga SPOILERS ... SPOILERS It felt satisfying seeing the a bit past Makabe and Aki's relationship but I felt sad for Neko that she didn't find anyone that might suit her. Same for Yoshino, I really wanted them to have some future we can dream of. But I am glad Makabe and Aki were able to happy ending!!! P.S. I hate fake Makabe and I am so happy Makabe showed her who's boss infront of Aki so they could be lovers again!

Well I did like the manga and the anime equally, I just had created too strong image of how the show should go on and finnish. I had a similar problem in Nisekoi when Marika Tachibana entered the show but somehow I got over it. Myabe something similar is going to happen to this anime, I don't know.
