I have owned this model, 1968 number 5 Kohno , guitar since 1971. I purchased it when I was a student at the University of Georgia majoring in classical guitar. It has served me well and I’m changing it strings. I’m standing here listening to your beautiful playing. Mine still sounds pretty good too!

I love the -68 Kono. It,s a remarkable guitar and have the right pricetag as well. You dont have to pay a fortunate to buy it. The tone is quite compared to any other masterbuilt guitars of class. 👍

Do you remember what they were selling it for. It is now sold. I am just curious.

The '68 Kohno was my favorite - amazing sustain, response and balance. I am curious how it would compare to another vintage Japanese luthier Ryogi Matsuoka of similar year or early 70's. I would love to hear a no.40 or above on this channel. I have one with a cedar top.

I have a 1974 No10 Kohno which sounds like this one does in terms of tone and projection. Remarkable instruments and much more reasonable in terms of cost compared to many contemporary makers.

I love the sound of this guitar. I have Prof J. Is this comparable to the ProJ? Thanks
