I prefer the sound of the Toranez in. What a lovely guitar. How comfortable is the arm piece on the top of the guitar?

I'd say that the tornavoz gives it a deeper sound and more resonance, improving the traditional sound. Evan, would be great to see another video about the magnetic soundport cover, with and without it.

This just makes me more excited for my lattice guitar coming in a few months. You inspired me to ask for the Tornavoz. Cheers

Thanks for making this interesting video----interesting to discover what a "turnavalse" is and how it effects the sound.

Absolutely beautiful playing, Evan. The guitar sounds terrific. Tornavoz definitely gives it deeper more complex, richer, more traditional sound. When comparing without it, the guitar sounds a little bit more modern. I prefer with Tornavoz

what is tornavoz, what do you use it for?

The frets have an almost golden kind of glow, I was wondering if they were different than standard frets?

Good eye, Jaden!! Yes, I cannot remember what Steve told me they were, but some other type of fretwire!

Its probably Jescar Evo Gold. Its sort of in between nickel and stainless in terms of hardness. Cause it's easier to work on than stainless, its become quite popular, particularly with archtop luthiers.

Wouldn't you also want to replace the nut with ironwood?
