Great video. I have the same one but want to upgrade it to the sat nav model that the later model has . Is it as simple as plugging it in like you have just unplugged the old one?

If i replace it with another radio that has navigation and all, will the buttons on the wheel work with the new radio? Is there like a cable or something that connects to it?

Yes you need a specific vehicle harness.

great vid ty, do you reckomend halfords to refit a mediua centre with sat-navif its at all possible to asume its compatable with a petrol 2011 2.0i qashqai engine/system, havent seen any in my area. most are newer deisel 4x4's versions! thanks

is the qashqai dash unit the same size as the rogue?

I don't know what the rogue vehicle looks like, but from looking online it seems to be the US version of a qashqai.. now the early ones, the J10 is the same, the J11 onwards are much larger.

@@MASAudio yes thats what ive surmised as well. I was just curious because I have a rogue, which I love, but I want to put a 10 inch head unit in and so far all ive been able to find is dashkits for the qashqai. just curious. thank u.

If you get the harness that does the steering controls it will be plug and play..

Not sure, never investigated it. I know it's not used when changing the radio so it's either an external aux connector, factory phonemic or maybe a data connector.

There is a special adapter we sell that plugs in and also converts the 12v to 6v for the camera.

Currently there is no solution for the 360 camera, only the reverse camera. Not one I have delved into myself as yet..

Could be a number of things that would cause that, from a short circuit to a headunit output chip failure.

Brilliant video. Right a question or two. Im wanting A cheap and affordable touchscreen unit. With rear camera and front camera. Also sat nav. Now I've seen a few on eBay. However I've asked them if they fit Nissan qashqai 2008 model. No one has replied. Is it possible if you could advise me on some that are out there. For my car, not expensive ones. Just brought the car. So don't have much money left. But my children don't like this unit. Please please could you kindly respond as soon as it is possible. Im not good with car stuff. Hence the plea for help.

Rashid Majid any double din unit will fit as long as you also purchase the fitting kit and wiring kit to fit this car

no it needs unlocking by a dealer

Code number would come from main dealer using the vehicle documents. Also the main reason for removing the radio is to put a better one in...
