I just came across this review and I always thought I'm the only one struggling with the harsh contrast between my red hair (even though it became a kinda brownish-dark red hair over the years) and black lashes! Thank you so much for this! As a read head I know the struggle of mascara. I always thought that black mascara made my eyes look weird and was insecure about it. Then I didn’t wear mascara at all for a while but did look like I didn’t have lashes. I am so excited to get my order of this mascara!

I'm going to try these mascaras! I notice that brown mascara has become very difficult to find over the years. Once in a while I find brown black but it pretty much looks black! Im a fair skinned redhead and I find black mascara looks way too harsh for daytime...brown mascara looks so much more beautiful!

Try some asian makeup brands! I think you will find brown mascara a bit easier than here. There is also a brand called doe lashes and they have brown lashes if you wanna give it a go!

My hair use to be a sort of brown-red but now has started lightening to a dark auburn red and is getting lighter. So now I’m trying to figure out how to do makeup for my new locks. Ty for this video. 😭

I love both sides! I think the lighter one is great for doing a look where you genuinely don’t want to put a lot of makeup on but want a little definition on the blonde lashes. And the darker one looks perfect for a full makeup day 😍 My mom actually taught me that you can do a lighter mascara on the lashes and a darker just on the tips to lengthen and give an illusion of them being longer. I will definitely be purchasing!!

How “waterproof” is it? The corners of my lower lashes always transferred to my eyelid from my mascara at the end of the day so I’m always looking for a good waterproof option.

Hi there, I'm a natural blonde with super light blonde lashes. I've been looking everywhere for yearssss for a light brown mascara that would match my skin tone and not look as bad and unnatural as black and dark brown looks on me. This is the only mascara I've found that is light enough so I want to try it but I'm just curious if you think there would be too much red pigment for someone with just blonde hair?

I'm 54 and the red in my hair has decreased over the years. I have blonde eye brows and lashes and my hair is more blonde than it used to be. I think the make up colors may be good for you.

I love the colors, but hate, hate, hate the dry texture! It's difficult to apply and doesn't last.

I didn't find that this mascara lengthens very much. I didn't hate the formula, but I found it very dry.

I honestly wasn't happy with their mascara at all, nor was I happy with the formula from the other redhead brand. It's great that companies are finally making mascara to match our hair color, but natural redheads have very fair, very thin lashes. We NEED extra volume, to make our lashes much thicker and therefore more visible. So if they'd make a volumizing liquid formula (similar to Monsieur Big or Better Than Sex, for example) in redhead shades, I'd not only buy it, I'd be all over SM promoting it for free. In fact, if Lancome or Too Faced added a natural copper color to their current volumizing formulas (copper being a color all natural redheads can wear), I'd be all over that too. Too Faced made a Cocoa color in Better Than Sex, which does progress, but that's still very dark on natural redheads. I honestly don't care who makes it, I just want a mascara to match my hair AND be a very high quality volumizing liquid formula.

Those mascaras look stunning on you. I can't stand black mascara on redheads or on fair blondes - it's so harsh and unnatural looking.
