This is the best interview they've ever done. Hearing them talk about their issues like that, ESCPECIALLY ASHTON, THAT MADE ME CRY. Okay, first off, I really LOVE how giggly and how happy they were in this interview. The bit where they were talking about their deadline for the second album and when Michael got burned I was literally smiling and laughing so hard it was ridiculous (among other scenarios but those just stood out to me most) oh and can we just talk about how adorable Michael was at 5:00? and how he asked if they could swear? and how Michael and Calum we're communicating via eye contact and nods at around 11:06? and how they were talking about being a certain type of cereal?and how Luke told Ash to "fuck off" at 13:25? these boys i s2g. but no forreal, i'm honestly just so fucking PROUD and how far they've come and how they're making a difference in this generation and speaking up about issues that no one else will talk about. it's really amazing to see the impact they have on fans (especially me) and how they've possibly even "saved" a lot of them. i am so excited to hear the album and just experience growing up with them even more because they are such beautiful people and they have so much more to offer this world and i just really hope that in due time they will be recognized as leaders of this generation.

I've never cried so many tears of joy in a 5sos interview than I did while watching this....I love them so much, I love how Ash is telling us to love ourselves, Micheal is telling us it's okay to hurt, Luke is making us smile, and Calum is talking about peaches. I just love them so fucking much, they make me so happy and I love seeing them smile because when they're smiling I'm smiling. How many bands adress mental illness the way they do? I remembered Ashton drawing a butterfly on a fan's wrist.. I draw my own now. he and the boys have saved me. they helped me stay away from self harm. their music helps me to not think about it so much and what he did for that fan just made me know how much they care about us and other people. their music is a huge message for us and showing who they are. The New Broken Scene is just this place that we all are basically just coming together and helping each other up and telling each other that we are okay to be this way. we aren't alone. I love these boys. I've been in the fam for about 3 years and I remember hearing Heartbreak Girl (the first song I heard by them). they have grown in so many ways and I just love them so much. I'm glad I got to see them live and 2 TIMES!! I wish to meet them one day, I want them to know all of what they did for me

ashton speech at 8:00 ish i cried. people say they are just some dumb "boyband" but there music actually comes from somewhere unlike all this dumb rap that talks about girl butts and drugs. they are such amazing people and they really are heroes; they save lives. i cannot begin to say how much i appreciate this band and their music. in my english class we had to write about someone or something that has had a huge impact on our life. everyone wrote about their parents or best friend but i wrote about 5sos. they have transformed me into the person i want to be and i am proud to be. we had to have two friends check it and two non-5sos fans checked mine and said it was a great essay. not only do they save lives they get me good grades😂 but seriously i have a huge love for luke michael calum and ashton. i love them so much

Honestly this is my favorite interview of 5sos. This truly shows who they are as people and as a band. They are silly and goofing off one minute then the next they get deep and personal. They talk about real issues in life that so many of us are going through. They talk about stuff that actually matters and that needs to be spoken off, unlike all the shit you hear on radios now. They know their own struggles, they know fans struggles, and they know these problems are neglected. They realize that people aren't talking about the added stresses that comes from this technological age. In a modest way they state that they now have power, and it's clear they want to use this to make sure people are okay. And to make sure that fans know its okay to not be okay. They're sharing personal experiences to make people feel understood and not alone. To give people an outlet when they're having a rough day. im so damn proud these boys exist. hearing what they are saying about this album and how lyrically this album will be more emotional and deep and sentimental about a topic most pop artists don't really enforce in music these days makes me beyond amazed. these 4 are definately affecting this music industry and taking over the world musically. I love the boys so much and I will never not love their music. they helped me and so many people all across the world and im glad they know that they are helping people that are going through those tougher times in life with their music. Just by taking the time and effort they give us and supporting by us trying to give off a more positive attitude to help us behappier and that its okay to be sad and feel like shit. But everyone has those days and 5sos are telling this world today that its all going to be okay. In other news, im more than excited for this album they are releasing.
