So simple in terms of the strips and the fact that you can use small paper pads is really fun. I’m so happy we have all those masculine plaid and I actually wear plaid too lol

Honestly, it took me a long time to try it. I was so scared of making a mistake that I always made a mistake lol. But something that helped me was doing it in small bits at first. Also stamping on a background BEFORE it's put together helped me alot so that I could just start over if I made a mistake. I always also stamp on scratch paper. It just gets easier and easier, the more you do it. I also learned that if you make a boo boo--usually you can cover it up with an embellishment and make it look like you tried to do it..haha! I hope you have fun trying more background stamping. It truly does add and it took me awhile to try it also.

Love the way you offset the outline leaf stamp rather than put it right on top of the leaf. Beautiful layout with lots of tips.

I do love your page Kelly but I wonder why so many people use browns and blues for men (what I call boring colours, lol). Most men love all the bright colours women love.

@@madswansfan1 I do both! I actually use a lot of reds and pinks for the men in my life. I’ve done lots of videos about not being afraid to use Valentine colors and other colors for men! So I do agree with you! This particular color scheme lent itself to the blues and the browns and the greens. I do love that too.❤️ it seems like my deep summer pages are more bright, blues and reds. Even though this was a summer photo, it has a fall feel because of the deeper color.
