UPDATE: The stereo problem & lack of bass has been fixed.
From what I was told, Maserati has had problems with their amplifiers. They brought in my Ghibli, and re-programmed the amplifier and boom, the stereo sounds perfect with plenty of bass. If you want to read more details, check out some of the posts below as there's a lot of discussion on the issue.
