Maserati Quattroporte III/Royale (AM330; 1979-1990)

The third generation of the Maserati Quattroporte (Tipo AM 330) was developed under the Alejandro de Tomaso-GEPI ownership. After the brief parenthesis of the Citroën-era front-wheel drive Quattroporte II, the third generation went back to the classic formula of rear-wheel drive and a large Maserati V8 engine. The exterior design was penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro./3. generacja Maserati Quattroporte (Tipo AM 330) została opracowana za czasów należenia marki do Alejandro de Tomaso-GEPI. Po krótkiej zmianie, jaką był Quattroporte II z napędem na przednie koła z czasów Citroëna, 3. generacja powróciła do klasycznej formuły napędu na tylne koła i dużego silnika Maserati V8. Autorem projektu nadwozia był Giorgetto Giugiaro.

Great bit of history, enjoyed watching and thanks for including English at the bottom. I have a 2002, Maserati 3200 GT, that has only covered 34,000 miles, I love the car and it has really made me a fan of the marque! I money allows, I'd like to add an early Quattroporte to the collection of one 🤔🤣

Po zaprojektowaniu Medicii 2 Giugiaro sie upil i... zaprojektowal Poloneza;) Kyalami bylo jak by wersja coupe Quattroporte, tak samo wczesniej bylo z modelem Mexico czyli dla Quattroporte 1 generacji i chyba czesciowo Ghibli 2 w latach 90tych dla Quattroporte 4 generacji, pozniej Maserati przestalo tak robic bo trudno nazwac 3200GT/CoupeGT/GranSport coupe wersja dla Quattroporte 5 generacji.

royaleになって注文生産となり59台生産された。世界中で何台走ってるのだろう。乗れるのであればデトマゾ・ドーヴィルの最後期モデルに乗ってみたい。
