My brother has eaten at 1 six times. I've eaten there once. Shrimp are excellent. Walleye sandwich is good. Crinkle fries are good. Frozen custard excellent. Seems to me that Culver's is a cut above all fast food chains and will try to make it right. Culver's beats McDonalds Arby's Wendy's Dairy Queen Burger King by a faily wide margin!!

They are a chain based out of Wisconsin and, I was with a guy from Wisconsin and, when, he took me to meet his mom, I got to try Culver’s and, I didn’t know they had new onion rings till a few months ago, and, I really like them better, the batter is much lighter and breaded in panko but, they aren’t breaded heavy! I want to try their cod, which is my favorite fish! They are building up all over Indiana and, I am anxiously waiting, we are suppose to get one in our small town! That custard, makes a much more creamier. Butter burgers have actually been around for years but, a lot of restaurants just don’t make them!

I havent had the mashed potatoes or broccoli (those are really only eaten by the old people who get a culvers dinner plate) but literally everything else is great. 🤣 Multiple of there dont order items are fan favorites. The fries and cheese curds are awesome. Their fish is really tasty and you can taste the fish. Their tenders are literally the best tenders especially when paired with their coleslaw. Every vegetarian I know lovesbthe veggie burger. Their root beer is amazing. Definitely go and try it.

When Culver’s went to Coke products was a gut wrench, as my family is a Pepsi family. Now when ordering a meal, we order the Root Beer. Still love every meal whether it’s fish or butter burger! I have never been disappointed by this restaurant in price or quality other than some order time on crazy Friday fish fry nights.

We got a new franchisee at ours down the street a couple of years ago is what I understand. They have over-fried the onion rings and chicken strips so many times we quite ordering them, basically not edible. Have told them, can't seem to fix the problem. Burgers are not bad, but they were better. The fries are good and fried as they should be. The Pot Roast Dinner is quite good. We wish they still had the whole piece fried chicken. They had very good fried chicken, it really was.

The new lighter onion rings are the best onion rings that, I’ve ever had from a fast food restaurant, course they found away to bread them with panko where they aren’t as heavy as other breaded panko onion rings! Of course if they get cold they aren’t as crispy but, I will because, I love ❤️ onion rings! Butter burgers 🍔 have been around for yrs, a lot of restaurants just don’t make them! The one thing, I have to have from Culver’s every chance, I get to go is one of their milk shakes, the custard makes for a creamier milk shake! They are putting a lot of them in Indiana and out small town of Indiana below Cincinnati is suppose to get one and, I am getting anxious because, Culver’s is my favorite fast food place!

I absolutely love Culver’s. The cheese curds are awesome! I have never had their mashed potatoes or broccoli there as I am going there for pleasure foods. The burgers and custards are delicious. Fries are good. I think some people are just too picky or their local Culver’s isn’t that great, but that doesn’t mean that Culver’s as a whole sucks.

The fries are the worst? Who did you ask? The same person NYT asked for a favorite food dishes per state....instead of a native, they asked a person who visited the state only once. I tried the walleye sandwich recently and it was a soggy, sloppy mess. Very bland and wet. I disagree re: the crinkle fries…there’s no such thing as bad crinkle fries! And most everything else @ Culver’s is awesome. They’re famous for their burgers & ice cream…both are fantastic.

We actually always love the fish sandwich or dinner but do ask for extra tartar sauce and always use our own malt vinegar. Onion rings we never get mad at though we have had or make better. Fries do kinda suck but we hate crinkle cut no matter who makes them. So that is probably just us being snobbish. Mash potatoes and broccoli are dull but so are most places and it is an easy fix anyway. Never had the veggie burger and never will. Why when grilling a whole large portabella mushroom is easier and goof proof.

The fish sandwich has been super oily/greasy everytime I've ordered it. I think the pork tenderloin is decent, as fast food versions go. As for the mashed potatoes & broccoli, just ask for butters and put a couple in your container before you leave the lot and by the time you get home it'll be all melted and ready to be stirred up. Not part of the video, but their chili is WAY too soupy. In general, the quality at the Culvers by me have gone down.

I love their fish, both the Cod, and the Walleye. They can keep the tartar sauce, it's always disgusting, but Culver's is at the top of the awful list. I get my fish plain, just the fish and the bun, and a little salt on it wakes up the flavor. The Walleye needs nothing, its fantastic. And slaw is not something that appeals to me in any way. The fries are very good IMHO.

A lot of casseroles, and, Mexican food has lots of cheese in there dishes and they dip them and add a sour cream topping! Most Mac and Cheese recipes has either calls for cream cheese and sour cream or just sour cream, which, I just prefer in my homemade Mac and Cheese recipe, you have to know the right ratio and sour cream and cheese aren’t bad together, people been eating baked potatoes that way for yrs, people even add 2 or 3 different other types of sauces in one dish, layers of flavors along with seasonings and spices! It isn’t as gross 🤮 as you are making it out to be!

I go to Culver's quite often, I've had everything on this list besides the coleslaw, salad, and mashed potatoes, and I can vouch that it's all very good (though the rating of the specific location probably matters, as it does for all chains). I've never had a soggy fry from there, they're always hot and crispy, I look forward to eating them each time I go. I really like their veggie burger, even as someone who isn't a vegetarian, the only bad part about it is that it's kind of slippery and hard to keep all the ingredients on the bun, but that's not a big deal. The fish sandwich is especially good, definitely better than any other fish sandwich I've had at a fash food place, just needs extra tartar sauce, which is free and very good also. This video makes Culver's sound disgusting, when in reality it's leagues better than any fastfood place.

At the very least you should try it once, my personal recommendation is double bacon deluxe w/fries and root beer (unless your a caffeine addict then Dr. Pepper with a splash of root beer).

Culver's fish sandwich is excellent, as are the rest of their seafood items. My wife and I recently went to Red Lobster to celebrate her birthday, I had the fish and chips, it was terrible, one piece of overcooked Cod, a small helping of mediocre coleslaw and I had the rice. At Culver's I would have gotten three pieces of properly cooked Cod, a serving of very good coleslaw, fries, and a bun, for A LOT LESS MONEY than Red Lobster. In addition, I contacted Red Lobster online, and never received a reply.
