I skate this park on a regular basis, and I have to tell you, this crew is making it all look small and effortless. That vert wall everyone is skating is about 5 feet tall. The bowl itself is 10 feet with 2 feet of vert. That means thats about 7 feet of vert, and they're making it look easy. That is a testament to how great they are.

I'm 46 and amazed by how far skating has progressed. And it's still going. Awesome. The only thing I don't understand is why the modern/young skaters don't wear any pads and more importantly: no helmet. It's beyond me, but that's my frame of reference I guess😎

i wish i could tell you. im 27, started skating in 2000, didn't start wearing safety stuff til i started making legit effort to skate vert like 3 years ago. maybe it was embarrassment and looks, but at this point, its just comfort. i dont knock anyone wearing the stuff tho. andy anderson and mike v are amazing.
