To me, Mashiba is gonna go down the character path of "irredeemably horrible person finally being redeemed, only to lose horribly to motivate the main character in a way that no other character could". So many badass evil characters-turned-good just to lose in an epic way, to push the main character to further heights (Vegeta loses to Frieza and begs Goku to finish the job through tears, although you can argue he never "turned good", but he was indeed fighting against the big bad at that time, a-la my enemy's enemy is my friend; a fully developed Kuchiki Byakuya losing to Sternritter, only to beg Ichigo to defend his hometown in tears) In this case, I can see Mashiba pushing Rosario to the brink, and losing in a heroic manner, thinking about the very first time in which he cheated to beat Miyata, then looking over to Ippo (thinking how sorry he is to have denied Ippo that match). He would then have an opening to cheat by slipping in an elbow or even stepping on Rosario's foot to catch him when he is recovering, but refuse to do so. Then Rosario would catch Mashiba lacking and tell him that this match would have gone differently if Mashiba was the old Mashiba, and KO him in the worst way possible (possibly permanently crippling him). Mashiba would then have his last thoughts about wishing Ippo got to fight Miyata again, and Ippo to take care of Kumi forever (as in marriage). Kumi would then be so devastated by all this that instead of hating boxing, she would turn a 180 and subtly but unwillingly encouraging Ippo back to boxing, just to fulfil his brother's last wish (of Ippo fighting Miyata) and marrying Kumi as the world champion. Tragic but poetic isn't it? I thought that would be a fitting but obvious way the World Lightweight match would conclude, based on so much anime and tropes I've seen over the years

I found that if you voice is at 100 then background music should be at about 10%. Hope it helps! 🙂

i really want mashiba to win the fight, he has been so far getting alot of development and i feel like it all go to waste if he doesnt win (that's my opinion tbh) plus markus a fighter type, and guess who is also a fighter, ippo. Morikawa has been shown to repeat a pattern of all the fighters ippo fought where in the world level , they got a spar, sendo and vorg (obv wally didnt spar him).

2 months after, and I was right. The spar is gonna be crazy good or maybe just one sided (afterall this is ippo retirement and mashiba is in his natural weight)
