The makeup is no doubt very subtle and feminine, although I do feel Mahira's lip colour was quite different compared to that of the model. Maybe it's the way that colour sits on each skin tone. On the model it seems to be more of a pink shade whereas Mahira's seemed to be more of a peachy nude tone

Why does it look different on her? It's due to color theory. Mahira has a different skin tone compared to the model; that's why the same lipstick looks good on Mahira but a little ashy on her.

I told mashion in one of their videos that camera is placed far away from the face, It is not focused on the models face. And also there is no need to show whole setup in the room. There are other makeup tutorials as well where they only show face of the model. Model's face is taking only 1/4 of the screen zoom in please while the makeup artist is applying makeup.
