Hey Annam this actually hits home. My makeup artist canceled the day of the wedding and so I had to scout salons and of course they were raising prices bc of the desperation of the situation lol. It was horrible and so I had to settle. I wish I could redo the shoot or something; maybe I could use these tips and rewear my wedding suit.

Do it! book a makeup artist and a photographer and put your outfits back on and do a shoot somewhere

Defo do it. I wasn’t happy with my makeup or anything or the pics so 9mnths later I did my own hair and makeup etc which I should have done in the first place and booked a photographer and went to a beautiful lil park and got Golden hour photos This was 8yrs ago and I’m so so glad I did that

I didn't think anyone would see this comment if I posted it under the earlier video, but putting here so that Annam can see it. I just watched the "Feeling proud of my Pakistani nose" video, and I agreed wholeheartedly. It took me a similarly long time to feel at peace with my features. I actually have a very small nose (I am of Nigerian descent), and didn't know that look could be a "thing" -- I didn't like my nose at ALL growing up. I thought it was like a little dot in the middle of a large, round face, & *really* wanted a more prominent nose. It weighed on my mind so much, I asked someone if one can "add" to your nose in plastic surgery. I was sooo disappointed when they said 'No.' 😂 And then, later, when we found out more about our ancestry, my Mum would point out all the little noses on the Nigerian Igbo people in wedding vlogs, and say, "Look! There is your nose!" It might seem like a trivial thing, but it helped me feel like there was some kind of continuance of tradition there. And now I am hearing that someone had the exact opposite experience, but came to the same conclusion! Absolutely feel proud of your family features, Annam. 👍 Blessings from a Jamaican family 🇯🇲 in the USA.
