Okay... First of all, HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING! Never before have I seen a mashup so well mixed and so well thought-out. Even with 25 songs, you were able to compress them all into less than 4 minutes, while still making it sound like an actual song. The amount of "chop" in this is astounding as well; each part of each song was strategically stitched together without ruining the flow and energy of the mashup. Heck, the main reason I like this so much was because you were able to mix a lot of different lyrics together by chopping the songs into pieces rather than just flat out putting them together. The use of the "backdrop songs" (which are songs that play in the background to support the main focus) was executed brilliantly. Volume control, speed and pitch alterations or just something simple like altering the focus' and backdrops' roles. The vast majority of mashups (probably in the 99.5%) are just either 2 song mashups without even taking into account the key changes (and sometimes with people without a brain, tempo) required in order for it to sound even remotely decent, or huge piles of garbage that just transition BETWEEN songs instead of actually mixing them (in that case, those kinds of "mashups" are 100% NOT mashups). With mashups SO stale and unoriginal nowadays, it's SO refreshing to see another mashup that actually had effort put into it. With all that said, I can safely say that this is my alltime favourite mashup ever, even better than Virtual Riot's Idols and Romos's Magic Tough (by a long shot). While I personally liked those mashups, they we're just mindlessly putting random tracks together and not chopping them up as smoothly as this one. Some of you might argue that I like this because I like TheFatRat and that I'm just biased, but to be honest, I haven't really listened to TheFatRat in ages. I also REALLY hate bias. Usually, I watch a few videos of a channel THEN decide if I should subscribe or not, but I feel like exceptions can, and will be made...
