Having an entire mixtape for that one hit song a decade ago is WILD. In fact, being able to listen to all those OG TheFatRat songs (as in the much more electronic or choppy style from the older periods with much more of Glitch Hop, not like I don’t enjoy the new styles with much more lyrics though they’re all really nice :D) at once is quite… phenomenal. I first heard TheFatRat on Facebook 6 years ago. The song is "Flyaway" and it's really good. Since that day I have listened to his songs every day and all the time, for 3-4 years. But then, I suddenly forgot about him. A year ago, me randomly found a song called "Rise up" (again on Facebook). At first I thought "oh this song is so good", I didn't expect it to be a song by TheFatRat. Dammm, from that day on, my whole childhood seemed to come rushing back. We’ll Meet Again is my favorite FatRat song by far because of the memories. In 10th grade, the second year of lockdown, I remixed We’ll Meet Again as a school assignment using a very low level software provided by the school. I recorded every single layer including strings (all me) trumpet (my friend) and vocals (choir seniors). The final product is lost in the digital world somewhere but I’m still proud of what I made.

I remember first hearing this song when I was 11 years old from the game Rooftop Snipers. When I eventually found out who actually made the song, I was opened to a whole new realm of music I hadn't really listened to before, and ever since then, I've been an avid listener of your songs. They're great for getting hyped up to and they have such catchy melodies, every song you put out is a musical miracle. The album covers that accompanied them sparked my imagination and made me dream up a whole new world of my own.
