Brazos Square is a planet coaster park featuring a realistic park layout. This planet coaster series will contain several planet coaster realistic coasters and planet coaster custom buildings, planet coaster custom logos, and planet coaster pov videos. This planet coaster park will have small nods to Texas, including the name of the park and one of the main eateries.

Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation video game developed and published by Frontier Developments. The game is a spiritual successor to the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and is perfect for the detailer, with the third game in that series having been previously developed by Frontier.

Awesome video, love how well the paths wrapped around the coaster. My humble name suggestion is "Vertex", since the coaster has a 90 drop, is located in the corner of a square, and (might) be the highest point in the park. I can just imagine the marketing making the name sound super cool, despite being named after the corner of a square.

Named after a Texas river? The burger joint should perhaps be called Water-Burger. Anyway for a few other ideas you could also do something like The Big One or Magnum XL200 along the edges of the park (maybe not doing a full lap but to use the pace above a lot of stuff at ground level) and a thrill-oriented park of this size would definitely have a drop/launch tower too. And maybe that wedge of land behind the coaster could be back-of house? Cedar Fair doesn't really care about rider sight lines from lift hills so it would be perfect.

Name suggestion for the Dive. Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you The Rickrollercoaster On a serious note, I think it should be called Kingfisher. I don't know, just seems good for a Dive coaster, and Is a Waterbird

I’m excited! Was just thinking it had been a while since I’d seen a new Masked Bandit video. Really like the idea for the park. Small parks are easier to bring to completion but are no less inspiring. Really like the way it’s looking so far. Since you mentioned the city block size that would maybe be a cool exterior for the park. Maybe something like Summer-dale with other creator blueprint buildings

Brazos makes me think if that's the star coaster: "Bucking Bronco". I wanna see a dark ride, yeah yeah that means you gotta do some work on a storyline, but "you gotta work!" And maybe like a kids playground, splash pad, or mini golf themed to a steakhouse or some cliche Texan stuff.... Just some food for thought.

Since you're taking the name from the river, it would be interesting if everything was named based on areas leading too or around the river. The dive coaster could be called Blackwater Dive after the stream that feeds the Brazos river. Great series idea though, do you plan to play around with vertical plazas/terrain differences or will everything be on the same level?

I like that idea about the rivers. As for verticality, it's something I've considered but it's gotta be done carefully, as it's an easy way to make it look really unrealistic

Maskedbandit! So good to see you! I commented in early 2020 that I was staying with my parents in Houston and hoping to go to the zoo, especially since your channel made me aware of it. Well, we know how 2020 went, but in a twist of events, my husband and I have moved permanently to Houston, and we FINALLY took our kiddo to the zoo! The whole time, I was thinking, "Oh! Maskedbandit talked about this stuff!" We had fun, the kiddo had fun, and it was an all around good experience. It's always a joy to see you on my KZbin home page. Your videos are just so chill, and the work you do is lovely. I think I like watching people play Planco more than I like playing it myself. While I haven't been to Galveston Pleasure Pier yet, I did visit Kemah Boardwalk with my husband for our anniversary. Slowly but surely, I'll get around to visiting the local attractions. We're holding off on San Antonio until the kiddo is a bit older and not terrified of everything.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the zoo, and it's neat to hear you knew a bit about it due to my channel. I just made it to Kemah to ride the Bullet this year after living here for almost 13 years, so no rush, haha. I've visited both Six Flags in Texas and I think Fiesta Texas is better, and I also am anxiously awaiting the moment my son (the coaster junkie after our Disney trip last winter) is tall enough to ride all the rides with ol' dad. That'll be a special moment for sure. Thanks for the wonderful comment.

I've been building a small park in the middle of the city for a while now and it's a really fun challenge. It also might be the first park I ever fully finish because the goal seems real. A Wicked Twister type coaster has a small footprint if you want to get another one in there. Love to see the vids! Always make me want to get on a play along!

Yeah, but I just had a coaster like that in Summerdale, so I'm trying not to do the same stuff. Some other launched coaster would probably make sense given the tiny footprint of the park.

Not sure if you've picked a name, but something Texan/Cowboy like Lonestar or Gunslinger would be my go to, the name gives just enough of an idea for sparse station decoration like they wanted to try for the new coaster at the park, and some icons for tshirts and hats at the photobooth or gift store

I plan to have a few more coasters. I want a compact Gravity Group like Boardwalk Bullet but I'm not sure I'll have the room. Someone suggested an arrow hyper a la Blackpool, but again--not sure I'll have room. Definitely at least one more coaster somewhere.

Timelapse footage is super difficult to make when motivation is low. This format is much more sustainable and means more content for us. Also, I prefer this to Timelapse personally.

I won't be going back to timelapse--there's too much pressure to maintain the camera (which I don't do, I swoop around from every angle to look at every minute detail) as well as the feeling of wasting a whole bunch of footage if what I build ends up on the cutting room floor. I also hate talking over timelapse footage as it inevitably ends up not about what's on the video and is just a monotonous drone. Couple all that with the fact that timelapse takes longer to edit, and I think I'll be keeping it this way. Thanks for your input though.
