I have Mason Cash going back many many years. I am 68 next and my mother passed things on to me. I can tell you what they're absolutely fantastic. You'll go along way to find anything better at any price. All the best from Yorkshire, England.

Dennis, glad to hear your bowls still have plenty of life in them! Happy mixing 👨🍳

If I had to pick one size, which would cover the majority of tasks? It's me and my hubby so I don't cook or bake for a crowd but do occasionally make two pie crusts or 2-4 pizza doughs.

If you could only have one, I'd say go for the 6.5qt bowl: evkitch.com/3tjLSos - I really like this size, sounds like it would be a good size for the tasks you are going to perform! We also have bowl sets you can have for multiple sizes: evkitch.com/3zVbT06

I have a stamp at the bottom of my Mason cash bowl. Does it mean it is a fake one.? This bowl has grey streaks inside, it is like the glaze is broken. Is this dangerous for the health to use it?

Louise - older and vintage Mason Cash bowls may have been stamped instead of embosses on the bottom, so it probably is genuine. I think the streaks you are seeing on the inside is called crazing - this is what google has to say about it: "Crazing is caused by the glaze being under too much tension. This tension occurs when the glaze contracts more than the body during cooling. Because glazes are a very thin coating, most will pull apart ar craze under very little tension. Crazing can make foodsafe glazes unsafe and ruin the look of a piece." Older Mason Cash production processes were not as robust of fine-tuned as the pieces coming out today (thanks to more modern technology). I hope this helps!

does the height reduces by 1cm? so 15 cm diameter is 9 cm in height and 12 cm diameter is 8 cm in height?
@EverythingKitchens3 жыл бұрын
sara, not necessarily - it does break the pattern like going from the 32cm bowl (15cm height) to the 29cm bowl (13.5cm height). I went to measure the 15cm bowl and it is 10cm height (we don't have any 12cm bowls in stock for me to check the height of that one, so sorry!) I hope this helps :)

My bowl is 15” in diameter. So bigger than what you are showing. #2 on the bottom.

The bowls are okay but they definitely aren't TG Green no matter how much people want them to be.
