Remember, ichigo always had his friends and people to turn to no matter what. Without access to his powers ichigo couldn’t turn to any of his soul reaper buddies and Tuskishima already corrupted his family and friends. He has no one; therefore he turned to the crew that knew anything about anything. The most depressed we’ve seen ichigo and it got to the point where he was motivated by actual hatred to the point where he almost considered killing Tsuki. There’s so much to say really, what’s. Great arc.

He died protecting luffy. The point of his death was to break luffy and show him still how weak he was that he couldn’t protect his brother, rather he had to be saved by ace at cost of his life

@@hazardous3072 he didn't want to "show" luffy anything. It's just that Ace is incaoable of running away if there are people he loves who might get targeted if he does. It was said that Roger was the exact same way. But you are right that it had nothing to do with the "your daddy " comment (or at the very least, Oda made sure to clarify that it wasn't because of it afterwards)

Egghead is probably my favourite arc to date so far, its not super long but the amount of narrative jam packed into it is insane and the fighting is awesome. I want Bonney on the crew now to, not for any particular reason other than i like her as a character, although i imagine shell stick with Kuma and Vegapunk so they can try and fix him.

Binging OnePiece is among the best things people can do, pacing does not matter much in this case. I caught up with anime during Katakuri and Luffy fight at midpoint..around feb 2019..at ep870...once G5 fight with Kaido ended, switched to the manga. Its so peak right now OmG.

Cool to see another person put Wano at the top I loved it all the way through. I think some people just had really high and or odd expectations for it. Like Kaido having an Oden length flashback or ZKK. But Wano is truly fantastic even if it’s not your favorite. Also Kuma is the Goat.

I started watching one piece at the beginning of 2024 until episode 50 and then dropped it for 5 months and then started watching it again until episode 370,Dropped it again for one week and finally i switched to One Pace One Pace saved a lot of time like 45-50% of the time,One pace deletes the unnecessary and non cannon 1 minute for example scenes in the cannon episodes and also reduces the repetitive scenes and slow scenes too,I finished 2 arcs in one week,One pace main goal is to make one piece story exactly like the manga and you wont miss anything that is in the manga,It god damn reduces 100 episodes to 20 only so those who still hasnt caught up yet try one pace

I think you'd read too fast. So, you missed the bubble that doesn't burst. Perhaps size and depth doesn't matter, but something fishy has been going on. Fishman island is at least A-tier. However, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; how could we judge a part that are so inter woven? Still the political racism-theme thriller by itself is unique and mature. Great for kids growing up to learn from this.

One thing I like that oda does is when it comes to power ups. I love that he doesn’t use a rage power up and makes luffy suffer and then in wano instead of giving luffy’s new power an edgy badass power up, he makes it about being free and being joy itself.

I consider water 7/ ennies lobby to be a single arc that takes place on two islands just like wano mainland / onigashima are the same arc on different islands. Reverie is barely even an arc at all especially since we dont see most of it until egghead, it's just wano intro to me. also long ring long land is criminally underrated... not S tier but its an easy A tier

@@ricardk1443for me i’ve literally just caught up to wano and i read it all over about 4 days. it was really good and easily my top 3 arc (sabaody and marineford might still be above it for me idk) but it was very fun. i do disagree with you saying there’s no payoff though. for me, Wano feels like the payoff for literally everything in the new world, and some major mysteries we have had since the beginning. it feels like the end to a part of one piece like how pre time skip did with the summit war saga.

I caught up last week (anime only, checked some manga pages for reference). - I agree with Wano being in high regard. But MAN, Act 3 pacing sucks balls. Not only that, IMO Yamato inclusion, Kanjuro's actual motive reveal and too many other "reveals" packed made it very very messy. Act 1 and esp 2 were amazing. - Man, I really wished Ennies Lobby didn't had crap pacing in anime. 70 ep for what could have been less than 50. Really hurt the impact. - You are right. Dressrosa is awful in anime form. But also it take to many re-treads from Alabasta. - Ivankov is seriously cool - Arlong Park and Maniford are my S-tier, lot of pre-TS arcs in my A or B tier. - Post time-skip arcs were not doing it for me until whole cake, which despite bad pacing, managed to salvage itself in second half. - Loving Egghead so far.
