Intense work! I would like to build a stair with CMU like this but taller. What finish material did you put over this? My contractor is worried the CMU structure will absorb water and it freeze.

Why not pour the slab for the stairs and platform in one go? Also why not build platform and stairs in one go? Now you got effectively two structures that can settle independently, leading to cracks on their interface.

The labor cost must have been massive.

great job buddy what was that worth $13,000
@masonthemason64123 жыл бұрын
Close to that. I think 15,000. My dad usually does bids, I do work lol

@@masonthemason6412 roughly how many block for that job for 15,000?
@masonthemason64123 жыл бұрын
Since it was a custom build it wasn't by the block. But I would guess around 200

I like your videos, but the time lapse doesn't allow much time for me to learn much
@masonthemason64123 жыл бұрын
I have some other videos that are more educational. I like to make all types of videos. I am in the process of making a video of this project that wasn't timelapse. It'll come out in a couple days

lol, I learned more watching this time than I have watching/listening to step by step instruction.
