Hey im extremely new to mowing and i dont really know anything about mowers, i got this exact lawnmower and i just want to know do you know what petrol it takes?

Standard unleaded 91 or 95, do not use any fuel containing ethanol such as E10.

@@MikesManCave ahh thank you sir, I've been really cautious about the steps I take to not break it, Ive seen others refer the same standard unleaded 91 fuel and now I've gotten your confirmation.

@@MikesManCave and also another thing if you mind, I had a trimmer that was working, until one day I turned it on and it turned right back off, I try again and again and it doesn't even turn on at all anymore, would you happen to know what the issue is?

@@Astickkkk Could be anything, bad fuel, bad spark plug, , dirty air cleaner, dirt in carby, blocked fuel filter if it has one, kinked fuel line, faulty kill switch would be the most common issues.

Looks good Mike 5 year warranty cant go wrong. Was good it was already put together. Will be on the look out for a new mower sometime next year. Going to make the switch to battery powered EGO mower. 5 year warranty on battery and the mower so slowly saving for one of them for something different and ease of use and no maintenance. Cheers

Considered battery, but I need it for some bigger jobs, was looking at the Ryobi battery ones as well as Stihl Battery mowers, Also considered Honda and Victa petrol mowers but neither offered a 5 Year warranty and they were more expensive.

The modern plastic carb is supposed to be a bit crap, my son works on them and said they gum up easily if you're not regularly using the mower or not using fresh petrol.

Yeah I noticed that, jumped up $100, I should have bought two. Ride on mowers jumped up like crazy as well. It's a pretty good mower but I think over $500 is a bit rich considering it's a Bunnings model.

Random question.. I’ve purchased this. Followed these instructions and the mower stalls upon start. Any advice? I’m thinking of taking it back and it’s been day 2…?

Are you using quality petrol (not E10) I only use 95 or 98 in all my mowers, push mower and ride on. E10 and 91 is absolute rubbish. Does it have a full tank? All the hoses connected properly? Air filter clean and not blocked? Do you have Oil in it? Just check everything, I use mine at lest several times a week, starts first pull every time and runs perfectly to this day.

You can use it either way. I don’t use a catcher only the mulching plug.
