Looking back, the Verdict was never wrong. Childe was Guilty of awakened the Narwhal, the disappeared of the girls in Fontaine directly related to this. "The trial of the Hydro Archon Focalors, will now begin!" - Furina at the start of the trial. Everyone believed the trial was about Furina being Hydro Archon or not. But it was originally about the (lack of) responsibility of Hydro Archon toward her citizens. Focalors was indeed guilty (The core of the reason was she can't judge the Heavenly Principles). It was actually totally made sense and Focalors was the best Trickster in the world.

Knowing she is finally free and knowing she finally sees her success. She deserved that music ensemble and I would've loved for her to hear her victory soundtrack that was playing then and there.

poor Furina .. pronounced Guilty on the basis of her sense of guilt and the people's loss of faith .. and not on evidence. (We find out the Hydro Archon would react to Primordial Water in exactly the same way as all other Fontainians because she was constructed the same way .. so the water test proved nothing) Neuvillette gave an unjust verdict. Furina suffering injustice throughout her existence as Hydro Archon, even to the very end. nb: Furina in her human aspect posing as Hydro Archon had God level Integrity, Fortitude, Will and Instinct to Protect. All she lacked was God level demonstrations of power. Furina was Archon within her Depths, and Human on the Surface. That makes her unknowing Hydro Archon whose divine aspect has arranged for her spirit/body to pose as Hydro Archon as a distraction.

Not sure. Based on my understanding, The divine aspect should at least at some point be able to deal with a oceanid humanoid's reaction to primordial seawater. So Focalors, as a whole, should have immunity to the primordial seawater. If Egeria, who is most likely a real human, be able to create humans by fusing oceanids and primordial seawater with the divine power of The Seven, then wouldn't it make sense for Focalor to probably have different effects of the divine power? Maybe not immunity but at least some resistance. But it's Furina we're talking about, which doesn't have the divine power. Of course she would react to the seawater the same way. Even if it is not the case, the trial may have been inevitably out of her favor because of the fact that she couldn't prove any of the charges wrong. The water test even made her look worse because of the fact that she could be easily tricked. She actually thought that It was 100% primordial seawater based on her response after she touched the water. What good is an actual Archon of Justice if you could be easily tricked that way? And what good is an actual Archon of Justice if you couldn't defend yourself proficiently in a trial? Furina should have at least be able to identify right away that it was diluted primordial seawater and not say something arrogant afterwards. Her actions within the test were just too human to me. Besides, this is what Focalors wanted to happen. The prophecy happened as she expected, and was the definitive nail hammered down with the thought of being in control of the prophecy to manipulate the Heavenly Principles.

@@HybrdMonky - my perspective: on a physical level she is teh same as all other Fontainians. Focalors was teh divine aspect of teh Hydro Archon .. the spirit/body aspect of the Hydro Archon being Furina. Focalors herself wasn't teh Hydro Arcchon. Just an aspect. The Hydro Archon made a decision to have the divine aspect perform a function and the spirit/body perform a functiion. Like, say, someone deciding to create a management regime for study. One aspect is in control, another does the study. The Hydor Archon was Focalors/Furina until Focalors was "beheaded". (Even though Furina was unaware of her divine aspect, it was there as Focalors.)
