Mass effect 1,2,3 - romance themes [TGM]

This is what I think of the songs. Mass Effect 1's reminds of a wide expanse of endless space, and you're alone, you believe you're the only one, you lay in wilderness and look up to the stars to look for answers, only to find out nothing out there can hear you. An endless expanse of nothing, filled with nothing but the man's conscious. Mass Effect 2's reminds me of when people fear their own emotions, knowing that it'll lead to only pain, but they know it'll be worth it in the end. Like someone losing their special or loved one. Mass Effect 3's reminds me of good friends, or a couple saying goodbye forever, knowing what may come next, and what may have to happen. The piano part is when they may be having flash backs of their good memories, and the orchestra part I believe is when they are creating one last memory before departing/dying. Mass Effect's music is so great because how well it conveys all of the emotions they want people to feel, and how smooth they do it. Sam Hulick & Jack Wall are some of the greatest soundtrack composers, hell, maybe even the best composers out there.

There's a sense of mystery in the first one and second one, but desperation and need permeate the second one. The third one has a heavy sense of acceptance of despair and of finding comfort in each other despite the despair. It definitely makes me want to cry the most...there's a sense of remembering everything good and accepting that it's over, but that it was beautiful anyway and you're thankful you could experience it. It's the most complex theme and really sums up the feeling of ME3 entirely.

the whole trilogy has THE most powerful moments in any game. even after bioware became part of EA, they still had that touch with the scenes and somehow still made ME2 and ME3 very emotional and powerful. ME3 is the me of all 3 that make my eyes all watery from the tears.

Vigil is probably what you could call the "Main Theme" of the whole series,but An End Once and for All is my favorite. The new version by the London Symphony is wonderful.

I like the second game's romance theme best. Bah, all of them, really. I Was Lost Without you is very emotional. The Suicide Mission theme is AWESOME. Vigil is a beautiful song, full of the wonder of the galaxy. Normandy Reborn is also very uplifting. The Illusive Man's theme is deliciously ominous. But the one that gets to me the most is Leaving Earth/An End, Once and for All. I can cry just from listening to that song and the moments it marks.

for me1 love theme, first time i recorded it on my phone (old it was a couple of years ago, didnt have my own pc) i called it virmire outro due to it playing there.. felt it was a sacrifice theme.

the mass effect 1 theme is very light and happy, the mass effect 2 theme has got a sense of romantics overshadowed by urgency. The emotions in the ME3 theme are in a league of their own. there is the sense of romance like in the ME2 theme, but it also has a certain sense of sadness and finality about it. Well until the end of the theme anyway.

I love Liara's change of character from 1 to 2, very strong change, makes sense, she was on her own in the "world" not in her study group any more. On top of that, she was betrayed constantly so she became quiet and more personal, I miss Mass Effect 1 Liara thought :( so cute and innocent and tries to be cutely seductive hehe

I'm more of a Halo fan but I'll 100% agree that Mass Effect shows a larger civilian/everyday lifestyle of the world you are in and there's more emotion with the characters, not just the warfare. Glad I bought the trilogy to try. It's a new franchise to add to me liking list.

That's extremely hard to choose from. If I was forced to pick I'd probably go ME3. ME1 has Vigil ME2 has Suicide Mission ME3 has I was Lost Without You, Leaving Earth, An End Once and For All, I'm Proud of You etc. That's just my opinion though. I thought ME3's soundtrack was exceptionally strong.
