Mass Effect 2: Engineer Guide (Insanity) / Suicide Mission

Part 1 of the suicide mission, with an all sniper team. Featuring Legion, Thane, and squad shredder ammo. Its just not very good, but still better than no ammo powers at all.

First time I've seen someone go with Squad Shredder Ammo. Legion's loyalty outfit is a seriously underrated look. They and Thane make a pretty good team, it seems.

@Eibelsfeld I picked shredder because I wasn't going to be using thane for warp explosion combos. If your not going to be using combos, you might as well have his ammo power be stronger and be granted to the whole squad. His passive gives him a 50% damage boost. Coupled with a sniper like the viper or incisor, and he's a beast just using his weapon. People sometimes forget that squadmates can be really good at killing with guns if you keep them alive.

@888MikeM888 when you go to the mission with the turian distress call, you have to choose weapon training (assault rifle, sniper, or shotgun)

Re. going outside the barrier: you can easily die. I went outside for a couple of ammo clips. I lasted maybe two seconds at most. Those shield and health bars go down fast. Anyway, thanks for this great engineer guide!

Just imagine how much he jozzed his pants when he found out you could detonate both biotic and tech attacks in ME3.

I get the power glitch all the time. It usually doesn't crash, but it often screws up when I try to reassign powers to a different button.

Would you recommend that Engineers take Weapons Training with the Sniper Rifle?

Shredder ammo - what made you pick that one? Cryo isn't as useless as many players think (e.g. against husks, mechs), but no one seems to bother with shredder.

THIS IS INSANITY? really? how freaking strong is your incineration blast? or is it heavy incineration? bcs it looked like awesome amount of damage! I play with infiltrator most of the time and mine scraps only about half of harbingers ammo- and I have all the tech damage upgrades. it must be some ability of engineer, I guess- probably the class ability.

Wait, how did you get the rifle? I thought Engineers didn't have that gun

So you're just using the Tempest because you didn't have Kasumi at the time, right? You don't actually prefer it to the Locust?
