i don't know if anyone else noticed this, but Legion's theme was the only one that actually keeps playing in-between fights. Whereas every other theme played during your mission fades away when enemies are cleared. Legion's theme continues to play when there is no enemies, without the melody.

Actually there are variations of the theme that play when there are no enemies present at the moment.

That's the best part of this music. I would dream to have a version of the music with the part without the melody on some phrases.

This track sticks with me because I immediately felt like it suited the battle perfectly. The main theme that kicks in almost 3 minutes in has a chaotic, creepy sound that just suits being swarmed by husks and other Reaper abominations.

I have to say I was right in the middle of a fight with husks when I realised how hard it is to fight in 3/4 time. Only other time that happened was in Bioshock and I didn't like it then either. Melee is a dance but shooting is a death march.

To be fair their purpose changed. In the first game they were supposed to be actually dangerous action bombs, in the second they were melee swarmers like Varren. In the third game they were purely cannon fodder supposed to distract you from the Banshees, or worse get you out of cover while you mash F.

You can also time the Revenant's firing pattern pretty well with it - this moment was one of my favourite combat scenarios, call me a noob, but holding down the trigger and vapourising a wave of enemies with incendiary ammo, reload, repeat as above... just so fun. I agree with the lack of development in the plot since you were just rounding up squad members, and there was too much focus on humans and not the galaxy as a whole. But where the story is, (wait until reapers show up), there wasn't much room for more plot except get your ass prepared for certain doom.

Almost all conversations are a bit different and in some conversations i got a feeling like it's possible for the Geth and Quarin to live in peace. :D It's really cool. And Legion is my favorite char. The best conversations are with him. I'm just sorry that they didn't make more conversations about him. :(
