Absolutely awesome. I was a late comer to Mass Effect only picking up the trilogy a few months ago (on sale for around $13) as I'm normally not into shooters or shooter type games. I tried to give the game a fair shot and told myself I would give it 4 hours then either play through or put it down for good. Once I got into the storyline I was hooked. I'm now on my 3rd playthrough of the trilogy and still love every minute. Also, I don't care what anyone says I loved the ending and the ultimate sacrifice. The last section of ME3 was so dark and even knowing what was coming it still made me feel. This track brings back so much of that emotional rollercoaster. Thank you.

Agreed I got the trilogy a few months ago too. I started ME1 and didn't like it too much, but then I got into it. I beat ME2 twice in the last 2 weeks with about 25 hours into each playthrough and started ME3 yesterday...

I remember when I playing ME3 with full Paragon, when Garrus said if we were ever gonna retire. It was the first time I did a Renegade option, (this was before I knew the ending.) I never wanted Shepard to stop fighting, he was important, a important hero to the universe, he wasn't like the dragonborn, the dragonborn saved the world. But Shepard, out of all Heroes, he saved the Universe -CommanderJankie a Mass Effect player.

My sheppard actually would choose to retire, he's done so much, and all he wants is to go back to his family, the normandy crew, toss back and just relax, live a life, rebuild.

This really focused on how I felt when we left earth in the start of 3, I had played this game sense High school I grew up with this sires and battled may way though not being a hero but trying to bring people together. Seeing earth just helpless to the reaper invasion was heartbreaking to me yet I knew we could not surrender, we needed to fight to the end to the last man we would return and take the fight back.

I know that feel too. Watched nearly all the youtube ME1 videos. (Didn't have the hardware to play at the time) Played ME2 over 30 times; changing Shepard's appearance and backstory, connecting with different characters, romancing different people, and generally exploring the ME universe. Played ME3 once. Haven't played it since.

I love all three of them. I played the first one right through to the end, and there are moments in all of them that have you in tears. All depends on what happens in them. I've had relationships with Liara, Kaiden, and Garrius and that one was the most moving in the end of the third one. I had tears streaming down my face.

honestly, the part that got me the most was when Shepard tells a bloody and wounded Tali atr the end of the London mission to go back to Rannoch and make her home, to which she replies "but I already have a home" in the sadest voice ever. I have never ever cried at a video game but I got close there. At least my Shepard lived :) Maybe he'll find Tali again.

Exactly how I feel! I, for one of few, actually liked ME3's ending. Sure, it sucks that Shepard is out of the story now, but I have never seen such an emotional storyline to a game before. I know a few people who were practically in tears from the ending, but they all liked it. Moreover, the Mass Effect series is just incredible itself.
@13threaper2020211 жыл бұрын
well if u pay attention the god child is like the reaper leader (in a basic sense) he says destroy is a option but it solves nothing and puts it down constantly (the destruction of the reapers is being put down by the reapers i wonder why?) then synthesis they live and according to the god child (reaper leader) they stop the harvest and so on, then control reaper leader supports it and so on. "In war deception can be the best defense"

In regards to the music, excellent. As for the game ending. How many games have had an ending that created this much controversy? How many have caused this much debate and even sparked creatively in others? With that in mind I would have to say that the ending works on multiple levels. The extended cut anyway.

It is an epic saga, I like, not only by the story, the characters, but because apparent emotions, and is a series that teaches young people something, fellowship, brotherhood, morality, to see situations and focus from several points of view, there are even love, society has lost many great values and ethics, no respect, I like to see that in a video game are some values and can teach something to people, especially to teenagers

I got to the point of thinking like this when it comes to the Mass Effect 3 ending. Our actions in life have nothing to do with how it ends. Only thing that matters is how we end. A hero? Someone to be remembered by? Or just that one person that achieved his or her goal. Like stopping the Repaers. And this is what Sheperd did.
@AlexandreBatalha_Sharkuel11 жыл бұрын
Yeah. In think your right. When it comes to tear dropping melodies, ME3 is the winner. :)

Also, if you like this soundtrack, Clint Mansell's soundtrack to MOON was quite beautiful and haunting as well. When they said they got Clint to do ME3 I was really excite. Nothing like the Hans Zimmer/Steve Jablonsky/Newton-Howard we get a lot of these days -- not that those are bad, just ubiquitous.

i think Bioware added obvious hints in ME3 ending that shepard aint done for 1st the most famous breathing clip from destroy ending. But also when the future kid asks hes grandpa tell another story after he has finished the story that takes place in ME3 and the grandpa says ''fine maybe a 1 more story about shepard''

all I know is, when I finished the game, I felt crushed. It was four in the morning, the sun wasn't up, I was totally alone, I felt as though I had actually died. Died along with Shepard. Despite whether or not the last choices were not the way I planned to end, never before have I been affected by a game like Mass Effect has. It was a life. A detailed, extremely relatable life, and the choices, the final move to end all moves symbolises to me life is more than what we romanticise it to be

"Rest in peace" - maybe in your playthrough... Shepard is an idea... and I didn't want that idea to die just yet. All of the species didn't join him, he joined them in their fight for survival... Paragon to the fullest. Dem last seconds = Dem feels.

And looking at the 'good' reaons: Destroy, you know for sure that at least the Reaper threat is gone and no war short term. Control, no innocents killed, Mass Relays still work and you have a option of long term peace (using Reapers as saveguards for chaos). Synthesis, no innocents killed, no war short term and the long term problem has actually been solved forever. This is also why I think synthesis is the 'highest' choice you can make (need most EMS). It's the only one that actually stops war.
