To be honest, I didn't watch the creatures actively back in 2012, so I didn't really see what Max was like. But from what i've seen, he seems wayy too serious/assholish even for the creatures, and I do miss the old creatures aswell. Especially old Aleks ;-;

Hunter Mirr Yeah, like I said I never really saw what Max was really like so i'll have to check out his channel and old creature videos and stuff. But yeah being serious isn't a bad thing, it's just idk, he seemed like a bad sport (again, only from what i've seen so far). For example, in this video when Jordan went for that big high five to Max, he just kinda left him hanging and stuff. I mean, I get people have their bad days, and maybe they had a bit of a feud back then, but he was just be the usual Jordan and trying to cheer things up.

I watch this video now and I visible wept a bit not just because I miss the golden days of the creatures but also I have a lot of nostalgia for the ME trilogy and I remember how much fun I had playing the multiplayer and also seeing the conclusion to Shepard's story. Of course I can always play this game today but it doesn't have the same charm nowadays because the multiplayer doesn't have to many players playing it anymore (not to say it's dead, just a bit empty.) the single player only really has that good punch behind it during your first couple of playthrough's so when you're on your 50th it just isn't the same, and of course the biggest issue is we know where the series goes from there and it isn't pretty. (ME:A)

Now that I think about it, the reasons I have trouble playing ME3 today are pretty much the same reasons I find it hard to watch old creature videos. Just replace video game terms and multiplayer with video terms and community.

I believe that if the fan base became more respectful the creatures would "Come back". Right now I don't see why they would want to put out work for such disrespectful people. Would you feel like putting out your work just so people can say so much negative shit about it? Honestly, a lot has happened in the creatures, but we as fans didn't have a positive place for them to come back to. We were all negative assholes that complained about one thing or another because we didn't like it. Instead we should have gave our condolences. Like with the whole Gassy situation. Instead of getting angry that he left and started talking shit, we should have said sorry and wished them luck in the future. I can't help but blame the fans for how the creatures turned out. That may sound like i'm saying their in a bad position right now, which they aren't, but they could've been in a much better one if the community was respectful and positive.

When i say that it has occasionally shown to help the industry i am referring to the music industry. Many undiscovered bands became known/popular through file sharing as it meant they could reach a much wider audience... who became fans who then payed for legit albums... fans don't tend to steal. This is true to the extent that some bands/artists even promote the sharing of their songs early in their career in attempt to get it out there and it works.
