Mass Effect 3:Leaving the Rachni Queen

I save the Rachni Queen in Mass Effect and now I'm letting her die in ME3.

I like the difference between the reactions of the real queen and the synthetic breeder, when left behind. The real queen is okay with it while the breeder roars in rage and orders the rachni to kill them. It shows just how VERY DIFFERENT they are.

I really like the real one queen, not that shit which was created by the Reapers, the queen from ME 1 will never leave Shepard and will help, but the Reaper's queen will leave you and also if you will decide to dont bring her with you, she will try to kill you, but the real one will not do it as you see in this video. So i recommend to save queen 2 times :) You will get power of 200 rachni.

Felt the Same Way. If Grunt was Loyal to You in ME2. You Can Save The Rachni Queen,Grunt will survive,Wrex send him to Huerta Memorial(the rest of this History is with Citadel DLC). Also IT's a Bonus because u will Have the Rachni and Half of Aralakh Company in Earth ^^.

Truth be told leaving her in the cave is one of the dumbess thing to do. Why do you think she will be killed by the reapers now that Shepard and the team is no longer a threath to release her? Isn't she usefull now or what? We never see her die just Hackett's report suggest that queen is dead now. It's just wierd how the game handles the rachni line...

@EPloar Div Comments like the one you answered makes me think people playing mass effect are too naive and trustworthy.. Okay is a game and everything will play nice most of the times because...game logic . @Tyler Evan Think logically! You take a big risk saving her again. You might think Reapers controlled the rachni during the rachni wars, as she hints at you in me2 (unless you have done leviathans).. so saving her AGAIN is a BIG risk since she has spent time around reapers artifacts as a reaper slave Indoctrination etc etc.. You trusted her once and yet you find her grooming reapers troops.. Only if you know the outcome the choice is logical... But Mass Effect was built around having to make choices without knowing the full picture and the outcome.

The original queen says "We" whilst the Reaper-created fucker says "I". That right there should tell you all you need to know.

this makes saving her on noveria in ME1 totally pointless, leaving the reaperized rachni queen is the logical choice, saving the real queen is a boon even though you sacrifice grunt's squad in the process a small price to pay for something greater

One thing i don't like is when ME had this tough decision the choises were arranged like "paragon" "renegade".. Arrange them left or right.. lots of people just played blindly paragon so they always do the "top option" no matter how illogical might be in the situation... Eg for the fake Queen leaving her is considered paragon... Here is renegade..so people will instantly know "ah okay paragon is usually always good because this game is a pussy" i would have loved to see paragon actions ending in disasters (as it should be).

The only times they really should be doing that is when there can be speech checks like in Priority: Rannoch where you either have to choose between the geth or quarians but if everything is done right you can get peace between them

Grunt needed to guide you and your crew out regardless if Aralakh's helping the queen or on the shuttle.

The company did make it. They got there before Shepard did. They're in the shuttle.

The subtitles thing is not a bug. When the camera is on the queen, it says she is talking. When it shows a krogan corpse talking, it says Krogan corpse. I figured that out quite quickly genius.

Both outcomes is good and bad. letting Rachni lives will lead the krogan squad to their doom. saving the squad will "kill" the Rachni.

The reapers make their own queen that obeys them, and if you free it and trust it, it betrays you.

King Derner Cousland That's not necessarily true. If you killed the Rachni Queen, the Reapers make their own patchwork Frankenstein-esque abomination to produce more Rachni. If you spare that one, she will betray you and make you lose War Assets, and if you leave her then she orders her Ravagers to kill you.

I did too :). But I felt really bad afterwerds when I remembered from mass effect 2 how this asari said that they have changed and that they saved her from pirates :/. But still I didnt want to kill of the krogan squad

I never understand why the reaper troops would kill even the breeder when Shepard and the others are just leaving her behind unharmed and no longer a threath to free her... it's like a total moron thing to do, kill your only Ravager making machine.

This is stupid it is the same scene as when you save the Rachni i thought the whole company with Grunt would made it back to the shuttle, its just Grunt not please about that but happy Grunt still made it.
