Eh, I never thought of it that way. To me the fact that the peace itself existed, was proof enough that the Reapers were wrong, that Synthetic and Natural beings can coexist. As much as I regret killing the Geth, they’ll be the example towards the future.

I have a personal theory about that. I think Geth programs in Geth hardware would be fried. I do not think that the magical neon space beam can differentiate between a sentient AI program and any other program. Thus, I believe that Geth who are uploaded to Quarian suits would survive. Whether or not they are mad about the amount of Geth who were killed, I do not know. The Geth aren't dumb. They had to realize that any weapon that would be effective against the reapers would also have a risk of harming them.

Personally, I think that femShep and maleShep go toe to toe and they are equal in every way BUT romances. Miranda, Ashley (for me) and Tali, Jack (for community) are just too good to pass up. Female romances are quite meh imo. When I was doing my first female run, I literally didnt romance anyone throughout and when I did second femShep, I chose Liara BUT maleShep has great choices, I stress CHOICES.

I love Liara and she's able to be romanced by both, Garrus is great, and honestly I've not done much else. Tried Thane one playthrough for the feels but I think I still prefer Garrus and Liara by far to him.

Pretty sure in the control ending it basically says the one in control of the reapers isn't really Shepard anymore. Some new mix of Shepard personality and the reapers. I doubt it would be the same if whatever they become even wants to continue a relationship anyway.

If you look closely, you see a lot foreshadowing in the game. Especially that Shepard has to make a sacrifice if he wants to end this is several hinted before. Mordin: Has to sacrifice himself to cure the genophage. Legion: Has to sacrifice himself to make the Geht fully sentinent and save them from extinction. Grunt: Sacrificing himself to save his friends but surviving.

Synthesis doesn't fit his personality because paragon Shepherd would refuse to make that decision on behalf of others. Control is too dangerous. To destroy the reapers feels like the true decision shepherd would make.

@@phugindomas I feel like paragon Shepard wouldn’t risk the Galaxy on his ability to control the Reapers, especially since he just brought up the point with The Illusive Man. The Synthesis ending is a bit of a wild card but I think Shepard would be willing to try it. The Destroy ending is the solution Shepard has had in his mind since the beginning of the game and it is the most thorough in the fact that it completely destroys the Reapers. EDI told Shepard she was willing to die for Jeff (Joker) she no longer only cared about self preservation, so Shepard knows she would agree with him. The Geth made peace with the Quarians I think this disproves the Reapers and Leviathans theory that synthetic life would always destroy their creator. In the end the destroy ending leaves the Galaxy as it should be Organic life living and making their own decisions, unlike the synthesis which would most likely change the behavior of all organisms, and the control ending which leaves the Reapers hanging over the Galaxy like a Sword of Damocles.

@@a1z158 Because Destroy is the only real ending, the Star Child is the embodiment of all the Reaper and every single one of his statements is a provable LIE, throughout the ENTIRE series Control and Synthesis are showcased as being wrong and pushed for by indoctrinated people. Over and over again Operation Overlord, Saren, The Illusive Man, Cerberus, Javik's dialogue on indoctrinated Protheans, everysingle thing screams that Synthesis and Control are corrupt lies. Not to mention the Geth and Edi almost certainly survive despite what the Starchild says, Destroy is the only ending in which Shepard wakes up and lives clearly lying in concrete rubble on Earth, despite his cybernetic implants keeping him alive which the Starchild says will kill you if you pick destroy, yet its the only ending in which Shephard lives.

There's a bit more than that. Tali and Legion must be alive in Mass Effect 3, and Tali must not have been exiled. Then basically do every side mission on Rannoch when you can, save a Quarian admiral, and have a high enough paragon or renegade score to pass the speech check. If you're thorough, it shouldn't be too difficult. I only learned this recently, and this is optional, but it helps to have destroyed the Geth heretics in Mass Effect 2.
